OOC: For now, at least, this RP is for MackDaddy and myself. It's a lil' something to help me get back into the game of things (pun intended :) ). If things go well here, I may pull High Rollers back up or rewrite it. :)

Caryn: 5' 6" (5' 11" in her "fancy" heels when she dresses up), average body frame with muscle definition, modest 36B chest with large & sensitive nipples, long & wavy strawberry blonde hair, cat shaped emerald eyes.

IC:
David had been sitting at a small corner table of the Surf Snack Bar & Pizzeria inside Atlantic City's own Showboat Casino/Hotel for almost three hours now. He had nursed all but two Midori sours in this time. Normally it was his favorite drink, but tonight he couldn't seem to keep his mind on much of anything.

His attention was adverted, and his eyes seemed to follow one person as she made her way thoughout the bar. She was wearing a cute little cocktail waitress outfit, complete with the ruffly top that fell off her shoulders. She looked radiant as she smiled and conversed with the customers.

Caryn, her name was. He found that out the last time he had ordered a drink. She had stopped to talk to him momentairly. She had just barely turned 22, and was working part time as a waitress to help her through school. That was all he knew of her so far, but he wanted to learn more.

Her long, soft strawberry blonde hair fell over her bare shoulders. Her sparkling green eyes shone with a child's innocence, and he smile seemed pure, genuine. David so desperately wanted to talk to her again, but he didn't know how. He didn't know what to say to her.

Finally, he ordered another drink. When she brought it over to him, he asked if she had a moment to talk. Sitting down next to him, she said, "Sure, what would you like to talk about?"

OOC: I will not intrude. If you need a dummy to deal, or run a table, Thor is at your service LOL.

OOC: David
5'11",green eyes, dark hair, goatee, and a muscular build. He just moved here from the mountains of Virginia, where his parents have a house on the lake.
IC: "Well I was wondering if you would like to get a cup of coffee or something later?"he ask, looking into her eyes, letting her he was interested in her,but not wanting to be forward."I just moved here and don't know anyplace nice to go."

Caryn smiled at David. Her smile was warm, rich, and genuine. "Sure, I'd love that," she said to him after a couple minutes. "I even get off work early tonight. Perhaps we could stop by one of the small cafés along the boardwalk?"

David smiled at Caryn's response."I would like that,"he says,"what time do you get off work tonight?Do you want to pick me up or for me to meet you there?"Looking deep into her beautiful eyes.

In the corner of her eye, Caryn noticed her manager looking at her. Sensing that she had better get back to work, and fast, she said, "I'm off work by 9:30 tonight. We could meet back here if you'd like?" She stood up and pushed in her chair. Quickly she added, "What was your name by the way?"

"Lewis,David Lewis, what is your name?"he ask her, already knowing her first name, not wanting to wait until 9:30 to hear her sexy voice again.

Smiling, she said, "Caryn." With a wink she added, "I already told you that!" With that, she turned and walked back up to the bar to talk to her manager.

David groans as Caryn repeats her first name to him. Grabbing his ticket and leaving Caryn a nice tip,he heads to the cashier watching her as he does.

David pulls up to the front of Showboat Casino Hotel, parking his Blue Jeep Wrangler as close to the door as possible. At 9:25,he enters the bar and waits at the door for Caryn to get off of work. "Do you want to drive,Caryn or do you want me to?" he asks her.

Pausing for a minute, Caryn thought. Finally, she said, "Why don't we walk? It's such a beautiful night!"

With that, the two set out on foot along the boardwalk.

As they start walking along the boardwalk,David notices hoe clear it is tonight. "Don't you think it is beautiful out tonight?"he asks. He walks over to the side of the boardwalk and leans against the rail, staring at the stars.

Caryn walked over to where David stood. She placed her hands along the rail too, her right very close to his left. Sighing a deep breath she said, "Yes, it's very beautiful."

Slowly her hand started inching closer and closer to his. They were almost touching now. David sensed Caryn trying to get closer and he smiled. He slid his left hand half an inch along the rail. Their hands touched now. Caryn felt a tingle run throughout her whole body. How could she already like him so much? she wondered. She hardly knew him yet.

Feeling better now,he looked at Caryn as he placed his hand over hers."Caryn,I don't want to sound silly or scare you off," he began "but I felt something between us when I first saw you." Noticing she didn't pull away from him during his confession,he gently squeezed her hand.

Caryn looked at David, smiling. Her slightly watery eyes glistened in the moon light. "David," she began, "I must admit...I felt something too. I thought I was foolish for feeling this so...so soon!"

"Come on," David said, taking Caryn by the hand. "Show me where this Café is."

They walked down the boardwalk in silence for a while, just basking in the comfort of one another. After a while, David let go of Caryn's hand, long enough to slip his arm around her shoulders. In turn, Caryn slipped her arm around his back, slipping her thumb into a belt loop of his jeans.

Once they reached the small Café, they selected a corner table outside on the boardwalk.

As David pulls the chair out for Caryn,he sits across from her. A waitress comes up to take their order, but they have been to busy looking at each other to even look at the menu.
"give us a few minutes,we haven't decided yet,"David replies, his eyes never leaving Caryn's. He reaches across the table for Caryn's hand,"So what do you recommend?" he asks her.

"Well," Caryn began, "any flavor or style of coffe you can imagine is good here." She smiled warmly at him, then added, "I think I'm going to have an old fashioned cut of hot chocolate though."

Caryn shivered slightly against the breeze coming up off the ocean. It was early March, and still quite chilly at night. David noticed het shiver and offered her his coat. He figured that waitress outfit, though sexy as it was, mustn't be keeping her warm at all.

David stood up and walked over to Caryn, personally placing his coat over her shoulders. "Thank you," she said to him once done. He was about to sit back down when he leaned over and kissed her quickly on the cheek. She smiled at him, turning her head, and kissed him back. Blushing, David quickly returned to his seat just in time for the waitress to come back to take their order.

"Two um cups of er hot chocholate."David almost stuttered placing the order for them. They sit there in silence for awhile, looking at each other the whole time.
He smiles at Caryn,"Do you beleive in fate?"he reluctantly asks her.

Caryn smiled. Once again her smile was warm and sincere. "I thought you'd never ask!" she said. "I could tell, by looking into your eyes, that you were thinking that...trying to figure out how to ask me...worrying about what I would say in return."

The waitress had returned quickly with their hot chocolate. She lit a small candle that sat in the middle of their table then quitely left. David reached for Caryn's other hand, so that he was holding both of them now.

He looked longingly into Caryn's deep emerald green eyes. "Ca...Caryn," he said, but then let his voice trail off.

"Yes?" she asked, looking deeply into his equally brilliant green eyes.

"Oh, um, nevermind." David said quickly, letting go of one of Caryn's hands so he can take a drink of his hot chocolate. He looked away momentarily, trying to hide his red face from her.

Caryn could feel something from him as he looked away. "Are you sure it's nothing?" she asked. David nodded his head, but did not speak. With her now free hand, she took a drink of her hot chocolate too.

Putting the cup of chocolate down,David looks back at Caryn. "Caryn,I never expected this to happen to me,but I knew I loved you the minute I saw you. This kind of thing never happens back home,I heard about it but never thought it would happen."

He grabs her hand again and pulls it to his mouth, kissing the back of it gently. "So how long have you lived here?" he asks looking deeply into her beautilful emerald eyes.

Caryn looked at David, slightly surprised, for several minutes before talking. She took another sip of her cocoa. Ignoring, for the moment, what he first said, she decided to answer his question. "I've only lived here since last fall," she began. "I'm originally from up North. Bar Harbor, Maine."

David notices she avoided his other comment, but told him she moved here last fall."I moved here from Millboro Springs Virginia two weeks ago." he tells her. He finishes his drink, watches Caryn as she finishes hers. "Anywhere else you want to go Caryn?" He ask her, looking at her waiting for her response.

Caryn smiled briefly. "Would you like to walk along the beach?" she asked.

David smiled back. His smile was warm and loving. Once again Caryn felt herself melt as she looked at him. "Sure," he replied. "I'd love to."

With that, David left some money on the table for the cocoas, and the two set off for the stairs leading to the soft, sandy beach. The walked, arm in arm, silently for a while. Then David spoke again...

David stops before descending the stairs, looking at the reflecting moon off the ocean. He looks through Caryn's eyes, seeing right into her soul and he knows she is the one for him. "Caryn I know I love you." He tells her before kissing her fully on the lips.

Caryn looked at David lovingly. "Do you believe in fate?" she asked him.

"I...I think so?" he replied back.

She looked at him, smiling. Her hand trailed down his cheek then rested on his shoulder. "I'm sorry I hesitated back there at the Café David. I guess I was kinda surprised, since...well, I dunno..."

Caryn let her voice trail off. She looked down towards the sand inches away from their feet. David gently placed his fingers along her chin and lifted her face so her gaze met his once more. "What is it Caryn? You can tell me," he said softly.

Looking at him, Caryn almost cried. "Well...back there, at the Café...I felt it too. I think I love you David. I really do. I suppose, for a minute, the realization scared me. I've never felt like this for anyone before...and especially not so quickly! I...I think it could be fate working here."

"Caryn that makes me the happiest man in the world." he tells her. She looks at him and smiles ,so big and beutiful David is speachless.

After a few minutes of looking at her,he smiles back at her, "Caryn, the moon and stars pale in comparison to you."
