I got off of Oakton onto 94 south after saying goodbye to everyone and I was driving along all happily when traffic became extreamly conjested.
It was moving, but slow. Trodding along, I was not able to see what was causing it, because it seemed that there was no accident or anything, but that it was just maybe some people clogging the road. Well, traffic moved along slower in the rougher parts of the highway and faster on the good areas and south of Chicago where the road got better, the cars began to move and you could pass in the fast lane. Well, being that my ideal speed is 80mph, I was still sort of edgy going the creeping 55 that we all had to go.
Well, Soon, I got a view of what was causing it. There was a caravan of fire fighting biker people all going out to NY and they had like three miles of these people on bikes. They had a coulple campers at the ass end with writing and flags and all sorts of fun stuff, and as I drove along aside the miles of bikers, and I braved getting out my camera and filming it a bit.
They had a police escort and everything to the Indiana Turnpike.
I dug it. I loved honking and them waving and they got to be filmed and they saw it they were and were happy.
I was about a half hour ahead of them, or so I thought and was going to get to a rest area and film a passby, but I was extreamly ill already, being that is why I had to leave Chicago early anyway.
Anyway, just knowing that they were all going out to commemorate the tragedy was touching. I thought I'd just tell you what I saw.
I'll try and get some shots out of my film to share.
