There was warmth, and darkness.

And yelling.

And pain.

Reika's eyes fluttered open, and she looked up at the people standing over her. ". . . ouch." Her eyes caught the shadow flying overhead, and her dazed eyes widened. ". . . That is not what I wanted to wake up to. Dammit."

She raised two arms that seemed very heavy to her head, rubbing her temples lightly. There had been ticking, and her new employer yelling at her to run . . . gods above she hated explosives. That was the only explanation, and she'd just not been fast enough. Taking a deep breath, Reika sat up slowly. "Thank you, Lady, for helping. I felt your magic, and it helped more than you know."

Stretching her arms over her head, the mercenary groaned. "Feels like I've been run over by a horse." At least there was no direct danger. You know, aside from the dragon flying over them. She looked around, spotting her nagiata on the ground and reaching for it. "Now, the dragon. What's the plan for that?"

Seeing the mage moving towards her, Sofiela looked over at him and let out a soft sigh. "Not more chaos to the fabric of nature." She whispered to herself as he had approached them. On the contrary, chaos seemed to be the furthest thing from his mind as he had leaned down and helped her to move the woman to a little more of an open space.

"Thank you for helping her, My Lady, your gifts are generous and in need."

Sofiela let out a wide smile as they had set down the woman at an open space. "You are very welcome, kind sir. Nature blesses you and your good deeds." She said. She was just about to tell the mage her name before he seemed to move back to the goblin and the dark knight, saying something to them that seemed to be a sign of organization.

With the small distraction out of the way, Sofiela placed her right hand onto the ground and then her other hand onto the chest of the woman. Closing her eyes, Sofiela concentrated onto the fabric of nature, drawing its energies from the earth itself and into the woman in a form of a green glow. Though the ground seemed to be a little hard, there was just enough of a contact of living things to focus the energies onto the woman and then healing as much of her wounds as she could.

". . . ouch. . . . That is not what I wanted to wake up to. Dammit."

Sofiela smiled softly as she had heard the woman's voice, albeit still in pain. She had let go of the woman as she had seen her rubbing her temples in the residue of her magicks.

"Thank you, Lady, for helping. I felt your magic, and it helped more than you know."

"It was my pleasure. How do you feel, young one?" Sofiela asked in her concerns as she had heard groaning and the young (at least to Sofiela) mercenary starting to sit up and stretching her arms over her head.

"Feels like I've been run over by a horse."

Sofiela softly giggled as she had placed her hand over the mercenary's head. "Do not worry, the pain will go away very soon. I am sorry that I could not use my full magicks on you. The name's Sofiela by the way." She said as she reached out with her hand... but it seemed that the young girl had a more pressing issue in mind as she had reached for her nagiata and held it in her hand.

"Now, the dragon. What's the plan for that?"

Looking up at the sky, Sofiela could feel her blood cringe. The sky had become a blood red color and the dragon seemed to just wait... wait for something or maybe someone to cause it to react. Whatever needed to be done, it had to be done quickly or else the very fabric of nature could be changed forever.

"I do not have a specific plan for what to do with this very unnatural beast... but whatever needs to be done, I feel that it has to be done together." Sofiela explained. "It seems that this mage nearby is gathering us and offering to help. I hope and pray to the Goddess that I am right... or the very fabric of natural existence could be at stake." She said as she had kept her hand out.

"Come with me, Let me help you to where this mage is located nearby. Maybe he has the answers that we both seek." She said with a hopeful smile.

Leo looked at the man as he paused. When he answered there was something about it that made him unseasy, as if the man was hiding something. Leovin did not really like the man. He could tell that already. The man introduced himself to him and said something about trust. He may have saved Leo's life, but considering they were facing a dragon now, he would have probably rather died in the explosion.

He nodded to the man slightly and continued looking for Irisi. "I'm Leovin, Now, do you think you could please help me look for my friend? Or should I just give up on saving her, although there is not much else to do, we are going to die soon anyway. Unless, for some reason, that thing up there decides to spare our lives, but I don't think we have a chance of beating it. However, I might be able to use stealth to hide from it and get lucky, but you, and all the rest of the people around here, you're all screwed, so have fun with that."

"Hmmmm..."

That was more or less the answer the dwarf gave the human. With everything going on, it seemed Anika had little choice but to try and find the reason behind these marvellous events. She seemed to have forgotten all about the engineers´ guild now, but certainly with good reason. A machine that could, apparently, move by itself was deserving of all her attention.

Straightening up, and ignoring what few aches or pains she still had from the explosion, Anika moved on behind the young man who seemed to have something to say about what was going on. It had to be pretty important, she thought, to have such a marvellous invention like that walking armour destroyed on a whim. Usually, Dwarves were more interested in stopping their inventions from exploding, which Anika found rather funny compared to what had just happened.

Brushing her hair off her face, and coughing a couple of times in the smoke and the dust still in the air, she moved on with her eyes at times on the young man, at times on the dragon. Curiousity, as usual, got the best on her.
