Marie Osmond just collapsed on Dancing with the Stars.
They had to go to commercial because she just literally dropped to the floor and passed out!!!!

Attention whore...

:D

'scuse me?

If you're talking about me, I don't frickin think so. I just thought it was an OMG moment when someone collapses on live tv.
If you're talking about her...anything's possible but I'd think there are easier ways.

sorry but that phrase pisses me off to no end and so I suppose in that regard I don't have a sense of humor.

My apologies if I was snippy.

I don't watch the show. I'm not a fan of Marie Osmond, but when someone collapses I don't think it's funny either. I have a weird sense of humor, but some things aren't funny. If it happened to be his sister or mother or child I'm sure it wouldn't be funny!

Maybe it was all that being a little bit Country that did it.

apparently she says it's something that happens to her at times when she gets winded. She was ok, talking and being checked out by medics according to the show.

I'm not a fan myself, but it was kinda scary to just watch someone drop like that.

It certainly does appear as if a number of people are quite touchy this Monday...

perhaps if people where just a little less defensive of Marie Osmond and more attuned to the violence of the evening news be it war, hate, child abuse or hipocracy or whatever...

recognize that not all humor will make you laugh...but don't over react...I will keep my dry/sarcastic humor to myself and post where I know it will at least be tolerated (if not enjoyed)... :rose:

just being me... :)

I've had the privilege meeting her 17 years ago when she did a performance for the company I work for. She was very rude to everyone even the President of the Company who paid a huge chunk of change to bring her to town. The whole town pulled out all the stops for her, the Restaurant opened early just for her so she could eat a meal in private..her request..She refused to do autographs before or after the concert (it was held outside) because it was to hot that day. She had made the comment to one of my co workers the faster I get this done the better off I will be...

Like I said...not a fan, but OMG would be my reaction if anyone did that, celebrity or everyman.
That and initially I thought you were calling me an attention whore and I thought that was totally out of line.
I apologized for being snippy, but I stand by my opinion that maybe Attention whore wasn't the best way to respond. How about...and this matters in the scheme of things why? or I don't think this is the place to get sympathy for this. or even, why should we give a crap? but not attention whore.

........and how do you know that we aren't attuned to the new? Oh, pardon me, you know it all! Sometimes people need to be more sensitive.

And to think somewhere out in this wide world, someone loves you. Strange, isn't it?
We've already determined tonight that I was strange....:D
