similar to the 69.

I'm not big on cameros/firebirds...around here they have always been "asshole cars" just assholes drove them.

Yes...the article about it said they'd based it on the '69.

I'm not an asshole.

Isn't it gorgeous?
Cloudy, dear. That's not gorgeous that a fucking hot sex machine. I didn't know they were bringing them back. My very first car was a camero...I want it. Now I have to wipe the drool off of my monitor.

Join me in drooling.....and saving our pennies. It's a 2006, too, I think.

Admittedly, I'm a muscle car fan. I've owned a 1978 Camaro (second generation), a 1985 Z28 (third generation), and currently own a 1994 TA (fourth generation). I was saddened when they announced they were discontinuing them, but cherished the hope they would one day bring them back.

My wish has been granted!

I want one - BAD!

I hate to rain on your parade, but the Camaro you are so impressed with will be a 2007 model.

I think we'll need a little bit more than drooling. I owned a 70 Camero that was not much more than a piece of junk when I got it but that little baby ran like the moon when I wanted to go. I sold it for $500 because my parents didn't think it would be a good car for me to take to college with me, and I've cried about it ever since.

I can't believe they're bringing them back YAY!!!!! :nana:

I wonder what I'd have to do to get my husband to buy me one?

I had a sixty-nine Camero. 396 SS.

I'm officially jealous. However, that will abate when I have one of the new ones in my possession. ;)

I adore my TA, but I'd trade it in on that, for damn sure.

But I had mine in '69. I was also brand new, then.
White with a black vinal top (that was in back then).
Black interior, 4-speed, no A/C, but it did come with an 8 track. :D

or chicks.

funny I knew quite a few girls who wanted cameros...and most pontiacs seemed to girl cars.

might just be regional...?

still not my thing. THAT one appears well designed.
My brother had (maybe still does?) a 69 that he was restoring. he's motorhead.
I drive a Pontiac Grand Prix right now and love it. Just a little gas and I'm flying. And that thing hugs the curves, nothing like the Mustangs and the Cameros, but it's fun to drive.

Zeb I knew there was a reason I thought you were such a hunk.
Thanks sweetie. :D

I'm happy with my 2000 Monte Carlo right now.

I also at one time owned a '70 Road Runner, '46 Ford Coupe, '66 Nova and a '67 Chevelle.

Crashed the Nove, blew up the Chevelle, sold the Ford Coupe for a pretty penny, the Road Runner died a horrible death after it was stolen. As for the '69 Camero, after going through countless sets of rear tires, I decided it was time for a more refined car, 1957 Chevy Nomad Station Wagon.

That was all many, many years ago.
