It's 1978, I'm in the food service business. I have two middle school kids.
And then here comes the prime time soap opera Dallas. We, I and my wife (two wives back) got hooked. At that time we had no way to record it or stream it, there was no "on line" - it was that far back. We had to plan our lives around broadcast show time using our roof top antenna to bring in the 4 TV channels available.
The only enduring thing was knowing where "Who Shot JR?" came from, even if we did not remember for sure who did shoot JR.
And now out of nowhere for no discernible reason, it is back Dallas on TNT (link).
So has anything changed in your life in the last 34 years?
How are you containing your excitement that those cast members not dead will be back on TV for children to see?
