We picked up O'Malley at a shelter. We chose her because she wasn't afraid to tackle cats three times her size. She was a small, "piepklein" little thing, but there was nothing small about her voice: She could rattle the rafters with one meow.
O'Malley was part of a litter of feral kittens. She was always shy of new people. She kept to herself for the most part, and asked for very little except a little food and some love now and then --usually just before bedtime. Her favortie place was under the rose bushes out front. She preferred to stay outside if the weather was warm, and if not, her favorite place to nap was on the back of the couch or stretched out on her back on the bed.
O'Malley was killed last night. We found her body this morning. We think she may have been hit by a car, though we don't know for sure. She was with us six years. Six years of love and entertainment.
I'll miss you Miss O'Malley Fuzzybutt.
