In my travels through Lit, I was saddened to see this thread and topic faded into the background.

The posts some have made I think are great. I would love to publically explore the beauty of a loving relationsip between two women with unique and wonderful individual backgrounds that come together for companionship and love.

I would like to attempt rekindle here.... As a young woman I was blessed with some wonderful older lovers and dear friends. I value those relationships today. Some are still sexual some are dear dear friends. But they all still include mutual respect and always a great sense of humor.

May we continue to respect our elders and invite youth to explore on their terms.

It seems to me that men more than women are hung up on the age of lovers. My true love is 11 years younger than I, but she often seems more mature.
