I would agree with you, and totally disagree with the posters above you. I think as you get older you get better at accepting, and putting things in perspective. I'm certainly still willing to try new things and meet new people, but willing to accept that things don't always work out. You still have to keep taking chances, trying new things - and I don't think that is desperate.

A Mini Rant - For Anyone Who Cares

Despite the openness on Lit, I there are some people who are put out by the thought any “girl” letting an "old" man in his 60s – 70s have sex with them. I can only speak for myself when I point out that, 1) I am of age, 2) I decide who I want to have sex with, 3) a man in his 60s is definitely not old, and 4) my lover is a very generous man (sexually, monetarily, emotionally), but my being with him is not dependent on what he can give me or buy me.

I consider myself fortunate in being with him. If I should meet someone else that I want to be with, then so be it. If we are still together in the future and heaven forbid he is no longer able to take care of me in that way (keeping in mind there is more than one way to please a woman), I suspect I will still gladly take my place between his legs so that I can suck his cock and lick his balls until he is satisfied and happily falls asleep.

I dare say there are probably a lot of younger women out there who feel the same way about their older guys.
