Love to me takes alot of time
Falling in love is not a crime
I sometimes don't know what to say
I think of you day by day
Falling in love you must be sure
But being in love you must be pure

But now love has changed
A broken heart is now arranged
Why can't you look me in the eye
Why did you have to lie
I thought we'd always be together
But our love blew away like a feather

People say a broken heart hurts
I see my man as he flurts
You got me mad
You got me sad
You made me cry
Now you must die

the pain inside stops
Words I say come easy
Though, the words
"I Love You"
have cut me deeply
Yet, when you say them
When I think of you
my heart pounds hard
when you are gone
Tears take your place

Tears of joy come free
Every heart beat
is your name
every blink
is you, smiling at me
To hear your name
I wish I was with you
Kisses forever true
your words give me
Hope, Pleasure, Strength
and the Love
I've longed for
for so long, seems like
forever
