My Fathers Day gifts came early. They were gift certificates to OLD MAN RIVER Book Store....not its real name.
Anyway, I added several bargains to my cart, and just as I was ready to place the order, their computer wiped-out my order, and raised the prices on all of the bargains an average of $3.50 per item. WTF!!!
I've read that this is how its done now. No one pays the same price for the same thing. If the computer decides you should pay more (or less) you get what the computer decides. In my case the puter figured I'm good for more.
So I returned to the drawing board, sharpened my mouse, and bought twice the number of items for the same money, but the new order is entirely used books.
