Trump was supposed to be a political Godzilla in exile. Instead, he’s adrift.

He backed away from creating a third party and has soured on the costly prospect of launching his own TV empire or social media startup.

His vow to target disloyal Republicans with personally-recruited primary challengers has taken a backseat to conventional endorsements of senators who refused to indulge his quest to overturn the 2020 election.

And though he was supposed to build a massive political apparatus to keep his MAGA movement afloat, it’s unclear to Republicans what his PAC is actually doing, beyond entangling itself in disputes with Republican icons and the party’s fundraising arms.

Ex-president Donald Trump finds himself adrift while in political exile. And Republicans, and even some allies, say he is disorganized, torn between playing the role of antagonist and party leader.

“There is no apparatus, no structure and part of that is due to a lack of political understanding on Trump’s behalf,” said a person close to the former president, noting that Trump has struggled to learn the ropes of post-presidential politicking.

Adrift in a whirlpool of his Golden Toilet! :D:D:D:D

Just as it's much too early to say that he'll survive civil and criminal litigation, I think it's too early to declare the post-defeat path he'll take. I think/hope he will have faded in four months, but I wouldn't place a bet on that.

Still fully immersed in your fulminant Trump Derangement Syndrome.

It is not every day that a fascist wannabe dictator is defanged by Democracy and they still try and subvert a free election.

Only 9 weeks since the January Insurrection. But I understand why persons of your ilk want to "move on and let the unity begin'.

'Failing' Trump has 'too much baggage' to make a successful presidential run in 2024: election expert

In an interview with the Miami Herald, the political analyst who has predicted the correct results of seven of the last eight presidential elections claimed Donald Trump is unlikely to win re-election in 2024 and that the prospects of his even running look equally dismal.

Speaking with the Herald's Andrés Oppenheimer, Newsweek is reporting that Allan Lichtman, a Distinguished Professor of History at American University, said the ex-president has an overwhelming burden of problems that will make running a successful campaign almost impossible.

In the interview, Lichtman stated Trump has "... $400 million-plus in loans coming due. His brand is failing. His businesses are failing. He has a huge IRS audit. He doesn't hold office anymore. He's lost his Twitter."

Plus his dick doesn't work anymore! :D :D :D:D :D

'Hard to wiggle out of': Harvard's Laurence Tribe walks through worst possible Trump legal trouble in Georgia

President Donald Trump is facing possible charges by the Fulton County District Attorney in Georgia after his attempts to overthrow the 2020 election by pressuring Georgia officials to change the election count.

Speaking to MSNBC host Mehdi Hasan, Harvard law professor Laurence Tribe explained that some of the possible charges for Trump are going to be difficult for him "to wiggle out of."

"Well, you would have to put them in different buckets," Tribe began. "The financial cases are very strong, but they won't hold him accountable for his abuses as president. The ones that are really serious in that respect, are with the Fulton County prosecution, which is a prosecution for basically trying to steal the Georgia election, and the prosecutions that might occur under federal law. There are two key provisions of title 18 of U.S. code. One which you referenced earlier, U.S. codes 2384, that is conspiracy to commit sedition, a fancy way of talking about trying to prevent the government from functioning."

Sedition is bad! Bad Tweetless, bad! :D :D :D

Now 45 hates Twitter.

Lately Trump has been doing what comes naturally to him — dictating tweet-like statements, calling into conservative talk shows, and generally stirring up trouble. "I like this better than Twitter," he claimed on Newsmax. "Actually they did us a favor. This is better."

'Awful news' for Trump hotels and resorts after top luxury travel agency dumps them: report

Former President Donald Trump's hotel business took a fresh blow this month when a top luxury travel agency reportedly ended its preferred partnership with ten different Trump hotels.

Luxury Launches reports that the Trump hotels received "awful news" in early March when Virtuoso, which it describes as "the travel industry's most prominent and undisputed player," removed all Trump hotels and resorts from its network.

"This quiet elimination of all 10 Trump-branded hotels and resorts from its list of preferred partners will... severely hamper Trump's hotel management and licensing business, which is already down $24 million since 2019, as well as his golf resorts in Miami and Europe, which are down another $120 million," the publication writes.

"No more bedbugs!" Oh my!
