My father at one time had a 1951 Citroen 11cv.

He recently found a picture of it and sent it to me. Now he wants to find some info on the engine.

Do any of you have some good info on it? If so I would appreciate it.

An old college buddy of mine drove a 2CV.

What a POS.

It was noisy, drafty, couldn't get out of it's own way and looked like it had been kicked in the ass.

Easy on gas, though.

Had a 2-banger in it as I recall.

The French answer to the Volkswagen.

But what was the question? :)

Although I mainly messed around with Fiats (and Chevys) growing up, there were a few Citroens that passed through the garage.

Inline sixes for the most part, as I recall. Terrible electrical, as with all European manufacturers.
