I do not know what will happen with your's but I'll share what happens with mine.

I keep mine trimmed and every month or two I go bald. (I do it for hygiene reasons and for the look, along with sensitivity.) I use an electric razor so I do not have a burning sensation unless I get too close with the cut. Not something I'd recommend. My skin is allergic to most creams and I am not about to ask for an allergic reaction in that area. It is sensitive though so I cream with baby lotion and skip panties/tight clothing for a few hours afterwords. The part I dislike is when the hair grows back out, it catches and rubs on my panties.

As for the hair...I'm a brunette. I really do not see a color difference. I personally think the area is softer afterword and less course than it was orginally. As for thickness-I don't think it is any thicker, I am inclined to think that mine, at least, is less of a bush than before.

I love how it looks on the day of the shave. So smooth and perfect

Just give the process time. In the beginning of the grow out process you might not care for the texture or look very much but in a few months its going to be just like new.

The reason I ask about the color when it comes back, is because when I shave my underarms and my legs, that hair comes back a very dark brown. A few hairs on my legs come back red, but not all of them.
