AAA won't come get my car out of the snow because our street isn't plowed.

The city doesn't plow our street.

What the fuck am I supposed to do?

Got a shovel?

punch everyone in the face that told you that you were lucky to get snow :)

Vote a new administration in? Sorry to here you're stuck.. Hope you get some friends to help[ you!:rose:

<calling up a chinook>

(Do they call warm winter winds chinooks there, or is that just an Eastern Washington thing?)

I'm on the phone with the City now.

Maybe I should just leave my car in the middle of the street until spring.

Um....ok, here's what you do.

1. Put on snuggly pajamas

2. Get on lit and find someone with a helicopter or crop-duster's license.

3. Place a grocery order and beg the flying Litizen to deliver

4. Snuggle in and stay warm 'til the Spring Thaw. ;)

I'm assuming that snow in your geographical location is rare, otherwise you'd get plowed out eventually. Do you have to wait for it to melt?

What's the temperature today?

...Find a big strapping man with a four wheel drive truck...date him...waitaminit...I don't have four wheel drive...scratch that...forget I said it...

If it's a private way the residents are supposed to pool money for a plow.

Got salt?

Sounds like you got it covered by calling the city.
Now it's a matter of whether they'll be assholes or not.

BTW, nice shirt baby.

Ruby

take your hair dryer and a LONG extension cord.
You will probably beat the city.

I LOVE El Nino!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haze, it's not rare here, but heavy snow is. We had two back to back storms that dumped about 12 inches on us the last couple of days and there is no let up in sight. Forecast is calling for one snow storm after another until January at this point.

I found out that we're a private street and that's why they don't plow.

Spoke to a very nice and helpful man at the transportation department and he thinks I have a case because my son's special ed bus can't get up here.

He's trying to find me a plow now.

Cool man. Bake him cookies.

What? It's the holiday seaon I'm channeling my Nana.

Hire the big man down the street to shovel for you and you can take him inside and make him hot chocoa and show how much you appreciate his services ;)

What???? Ruby you are so hot you should be able to melt all that snow by yourself!

:D

:) You're so funny, Rhys.

Hey, the plow men have come to the rescue and let me tell you, they are cute, cute, cute. Rich is driving the massive sand truck and Rick is driving the massive plow truck. God I love a man who can handle a big engine.

I think I convinced them to put me on their route. ;-)

if you are out in the country like i am, they only plow the main streets. so if it snows we are stuck.

Oh Ruby, Ruby, Ruby,

They all looked so nice, white and fluffy and innocent until they all got together and ganged up on you!

It's Snowing

Enjoy this time the City has given you. Go out and make snow angels in the buff and don't forget to take pictures.
