Okay I'm ready for tomorrow.

Well I am ready for tomorrow.

The Ribs have been Parboiled and hit with my own special rub. They are now chilling in the Fridge. The slaw is made and the Galric Bread is ready.

I spent some time today in the heat and humidity finishing the large planter alongside the trailer so tomorrow I can start on the octagonal one.

I have also finished making up some party favors if you will, little bangers to celebrate the Fourth. Nothing overly destructive.

I'll go to the store tonight and get a chicken and a quart of buttermilk to marinate it in overnight. In the morning I'll set up the starter for a pan of sourdough biscuits, pick some fresh slicing tomatoes for salad and some Swiss chard to steam and then toss with toasted pine nuts. For dessert, I'll make a Quick Key Lime pie with Eagle Brand condensed milk. I've also got to get some canned dog food. The terrorier is on soft food until tomorrow evening because she got her teeth cleaned and her eye worked on. Fireworks? Maybe we'll have some indoors . . .
