Has anyone ever had those annoying people, that no matter how politely you tell them that you're busy, they just don't take the hint?

I'm always invisible, whenever I do sign in. I just don't have enough hours in the day to briefly touch base with more than one or two people.

The problem is, I try to be nice and make time for everyone that PM's me, or contacts me, then sometimes they get arsey if I there's a delay in the reply, or they don't consider the fact that I might have many others contacting me, too. This probably sounds harsh, but it's been welling up in me for a while, I often only have time for one person, and I'm sorry that everyone else has to take a back seat for that time.

Maybe I don't do myself any favours and end up pissing people off, unintentionally. It might be better for me, and others concerned, if I just didn't enter into any correspondance in the first place.

And, if one more person asks me for pics, I'm gonna rip their head off.

My pet peeve is the query that takes too many messages back and forth. don't ask me if you can ask a question. Ask the question, the WHOLE question and nothing but the question. And supply as many facts as you think I need to answer.

And Lou's right. Just because someone read a message doesn't mean they have time to reply. Too bad she doesn't have more pics

Seriously, you talk a lot of sense. I've tried the "away" thing, though, but a lot still don't get the message. They still send me messages saying, "Oh, you can't be that busy, let's have a chat!"

"Yeah, sounds good. I'll tell you what I'm doing right now."

"Sorry, I really can't stop."
