I know, I know. You think I'm incapable, but really I can delve into serious topics.

The question on my mind is addressed more to the men, but women are welcome to respond. When men are flirting with a woman, why do they suddenly start talking about other girls. It makes us feel like one of the boys, and lemme tell you...that's not how we want to feel. Is it to let us know that you are not thinking of us "in that way"? Is it because of some lesbian fantasy you want us to indulge in? Or is it just because you are so oblivious to the fact that it just might hurt us in some way?

Seriously, now. You can't be THAT oblivious!

I learned a long time ago that when you are with a girl or flirting with a girl no other woman exists....period.

With; being physical in your face or on your arm.....

Ok, Next?

Seriously...oblivious to others' feelings shows a lack of effort from my perspective.

Considering the sudden onslaught of bisexuality, perhaps the men are just trying to talk about something we'd have in common?

<shrug> Just a theory.

;)

In some cases this is obvious. Though sudden onslaught is probably not the best choice of phrases...i'll forgive ya. :D But in other cases, it just seems like they want to share their crush with you, and we just don't care! LOL

Guys are simply not complex. We're assholes, and sometimes women make us nervous, and we say the wrong things. Talking about other women included. It may not be intentional, it may just happen. Some are smart enough to think before they talk, but not all of us.

Okay, let's ask the dreaded question. How would these men feel if we started talking about the hot guy that we'd like to do, after we've been flirting for days?

guys do this with you?...........

I'm with killswitch on this.........when with a woman who captured my attention, she is the focus of said intention.........to bring up another woman would not enter my mind...................it is irrelevant............

I think I'm gonna start doing that. lol

I hear this all the time, but so often, this boys' club enters and includes me! I want to scream...I ain't no boy!

Sounds like a plan, Norastan!

BTW, that Ruby is a hottie! I sure would like to....um...sorry, nevermind. *hangs head*

hmm, Ok I must be odd. If I'm interested in a man, I want to know about his past relationships, I want to know what other women turn him on and why... (within certain limits, set by me of course) It helps me learn about them, and what's happened in thier past tells me alot about who they are now, and why they are the way they are.

Ok, my semi-serious opinion.

They do it for one of two reasons:

a) They have you categorized into the "friend" slot. Apparently this negates any traces of femininity you once may have held.

b) They aren't oblivious. They actually pick up the vibe and wanna put up a barrier cuz they're not interested. It's like pissing on the sofa to mark their territory. "Sorry, I'm pissing on this sofa over here. You're just not an attractive sofa to me."

I happen to know it makes the chicks very hot and want me very much when I talk nonstop about my car and how much money I have.

Sexual history is different from what I am talking about. Lemme give you an example:

If some love of yours (who could that be?) would suddenly stop flirting with you and start talking to you about how cute and sexy so and so is...how he'd like to meet her, etc...how would you feel?

Good thing they don't piss on us! Oh wait, they do...they just do it in a different, less messy way.

Hey Sainty...It turns me on to hear you talking about doing me on top of that car, but the car doesn't do much for me. It's just an example. :D

Hell, I don't know. If I had all the answers, I wouldn't be online right now. I'd be 10 minutes away, in bed with the woman I'm in love with.

Not ALL guys are like that, just some.

ahhh completely different than the so and so is hot, or I'd love to have nekkid pics of her... that I was thinking of.

I'd have him on block, (change the locks so to speak) so fast... he'd better hope his fingers weren't on the keyboard or they'd be cut off by the speed of which I cut him off.

I know that. I'm not even saying that it's a thing only assholes do. It just seems that it happens often to women. Maybe it happens to men, too. I don't know. I don't happen to be one, so I wouldnt' have a clue.

And having all the answers doesn't mean that you'd get what you want. I should know. *cough cough sputter sputter laughing hysterically*

Your name maybe isn't as feminine as needed to hit them over the head with the fact that you are a girl?

Try changing your title to "I ain't no boy" and see what happens. Maybe it will help.
