Okay... Here it is...

Sirhugs, recently returned fron Gaul, MsLinnet (the princess) and Pop (the pirate) all go to a Halloween costume party at Wicked Jenny's castle. Wicked Jenny, as we all know, is the elder sister of the Wicked Witch of the North from the Wizard of Oz, but that has nothing to do with the story.

So the three show up for the party, have a few drinks, trade zingers with each other as the other guests arrive.

Who else wants to be in the story?

The music is playing, people are dancing, couples are sneaking off to the upstairs bedrooms or to the basement dungeon. There will, of course, be no little, begging Trick-Or-Treater because of the mine field around Jenny's castle.

As it gets late in the evening, a naked body is discovered in (the dungeon, one of the bedrooms).

Who wants to be a corps?

And the rest of the evening is spent romping around trying to figure out who did who and also who killed Mr. Body in the Hallway with the Candlestick (or possibly with the Rope in the Conservatory or the Kinfe in the Kitchen, etc.)?

Any comments?

I've thought about this story last night. I Like the idea of making this a Lit version of the game "Clue". It should be lots of fun to write. I started a story outline but I won't be able to get to writing it for a few days.

Now... we need a butler, Miss Peacock, Col Mustard...

I think the thing that is interesting about this story idea is the use of Lit personalities and hopefully some involvement by the partiers.

Ok, here's an idea. How about we all provide you with a character profile of our own particular characters. Everything from our age, our likes/dislikes, through to details of how we look.

Another idea is to have a Master of Ceremonies (this could even be the Butler), who introduces all of the guests through dialogue.

I like that, Lou, with one provision. The character profiles should be profiles of their Lit Personnas which may or may not vary widely from their real life.

We should have BlackSnake for Master of Ceremonies After all, his dick has been everywhere and he knows everyone (Plutonically, I hope.)

Yep, I agree, we should stick very closely to our Lit personnas for our story characters. I'll do mine over the next couple of days and send it to you.

Blacksnake is an inspired choice for the MC. He can talk a little of his snake's exploits, and how 'it' knows everyone.

I'm about half done with the sci-fi thing. It should be done in a few days and off to my editor. Then I can start the story. I thought about spending most of a month writing it (which for me is unbelievable because of the way I write). My stories sort of ramble around in my head for weeks then just pour over a few days already written.

I've sent invites to Chicklet, Pops, BS and some others. If you have anyone you think would want to be included among your friends I say do it. With the time I have alotted to this project, the number of characters won't really be a problem.

I see this as being at least 3 Lit pages long or possibly more.

The more I think about this idea, the more I like it.
