DVD-ROM, DVD-R, DVD-RAM, DVD-RW and even DVD+RW?!?!?!?

All I wanna know is - what's best......

Considering that I want (I need) my finale product -

[the "burnt" DVD that I have created from "any other NTSC sourse" (like Beta-Cam for example)]

- the product I hold in my hand - all packaged and ready to ship off to somebody else

- that "it will work" in their very own, everyday, common, DVD player, that they have in their home or office.

So - what format? What's best?

It seems to me that I need DVD-RAM.

Help please? Thanks.

Okay - I figured out this much....

DVD-RAM is a cartridge format..... so.....

I DON'T want that one.....

But still - which other one?

So now I think.....

DVD-ROM might be the best - most compatable - format. Maybe.

Now I think......

DVD-RW and a Pioneer unit at that.

Anybody? Anybody out there? Know anything about this new and fabulous technology?

No?
