Been racking the ol gray matter and came up with Bobby Dearin, but I'm told that is not who sang it. HELP, PLEASE!!! It's driving me crazy..........

But I'm pretty sure the original version is Johnny Nash.

You'll have to go to Dillinger and the other music nuts for music trivia. All of those answers -- if I have them at all -- are buried so deep it takes weeks to dig them out. Then they're probably in an old disk format I can't read anymore.
