You don't have to post who you are if you don't want to.:)

I'm a registered Dem though I'm thinking of changing to Green.

Whatever it is you said you'd let us know it.;)

Hi, weed.

Why are you yearning for a wooden boy?

I'm so proud of myself posting in a political thread. :D

I'm registered Independent.

I vote Libertarian first, Republican second, write in my OWN name third...

And I NEVER respond to political threads!

I doubt if anyone can guess what I answered. hehe

I'm wondering who the 3rd Republican is. Most of the conservatives on Lit are Libertarians, I think.

A Palm Beach Democrat.

This poll sure is confusing!

I, too, almost voted for Pat...

Does Libertarian = Conservative? I never would have made that association.

Generally speaking. Look at the Libertarians on Lit (JazzManJim, SIN, etc).

Generally speaking, in the U.S. today, liberals who think that the Democrats are not quite right go Green, and conservatives who think that the Republicans are not quite right go Libertarian.

i think that is almost the opposite for british politics

my political party changes but i will say green right now :)

Politics

The comparison of Lib's to Rep's and Green's to Dem's is more or less accurate....

I'm more or less a Libertarian....Started out as a rep and decided that wasn't quite what I believed...Oh well

****************************************************
Politics is an accurate word. Poli- meaning "many, -tics meaning "blood sucking parasites".

Could you elaborate, please, oh Greenie-Girl.
;)

well we have liberal democrats (our 3rd party) which closest to the labour party but they are probably more left

labour are meant to be left wing but is more central left

conservatives are right wing

and green are probably left wing but pretty weird so its hard to tell sometimes :)

the conservative party have killed any kind of right wing movement in england except for weirdo's :) (which i don't think is a bad thing :p)

Sometimes I think if the Greens and the Libertarians could ever meet up on the other side we'd have it all figured out.

Politics of Dancing......

I guess I would call myself a right wing Democrat. Or Moderate Democrat.....I dunno what the politico speak for it is.

I dont encourage abortion but I am pro choice. My es wife had one. We thought it would be best at the time....I would have a fifteen year old kid right now if we didnt go through with it...I am bummed, but I would never be so arrogant to tell a woman what to do with her own body.

I dont know why I brought that up but I did....it always seems to be somewhat of a deciding factor in party choice.

I support the unions to death, although I am not a member of a local.

I hate Rush Limbaugh, and especially Dr Laura.....

I am a patriotic american and I fly my flag every day...."Not just when a tragedy strikes like all the flag hoopla during and after 911"

I support a strong defense system and military. I dont agree with us butting in where we dont belong.

I support entrapanuers (sp) but I also think this country is greedy and extremely wasteful.

I have never missed an election....local, state, or national.

I am not ashamed of who I support, my views on politics, and or that I am a registered Democrat.

I guess thats it.......
