I just turned the voting off on over 90% (50 or so) of my poems. Of course, I don't get near the votes you do. Mine tend to seep up from the bottom as others fall. But I think you should consider dumping a lot of yours. That's entirely up to you, but I don't want to be accused of denying new poets their voice.

If you check the right away it wont show a change, but it will at the next update.

My thanks also, TJ. I was perusing the top list last night and was utterly flabbergasted to see an ancient poem of mine there. I cannot describe how dumbfounded I was. I can only surmise that my commenting on the Olympic poems might have stirred up interest in what I have written. That, combined with your gracious gesture (and WriterDom's, etal.) must have made the difference.

Now that I'm on the list, I await the wash of ones that so often strikes the fresh meat.

I know...the toplist drastically changed its face when myself,
WriterDom, and others took off our older poems, and many
"older" ones suddenly popped up. A big change in demographics,
I guess.

I was thinking of that scene in Raiders of the Lost Ark............ Carrie's far too ethical to shoot that sword out of your hand.

My roots are pretty deep here. That's all. I was here long before it became a forum. We fought the good fight and won. I don't expect a gold metal around my neck or anything but I'm not a newbie.
