uhhhh, I don't understand. Taking the pill for the first time? I never had any side effects, if that's what you mean.

Except my period would start if I forgot the damn thing.

I hated the pill for that reason.

Not 'the Pill' Moon...the Oops we had an accident pill....:(

"the morning after" pill can actually be taken up to 120 hours after sex, and works best up to 72 hours after. it's basically a very large dose of birth control hormones (progesterone and estrogen). it inhibits ovulation.

it is not a chemical abortion, despite what some pro life advocates have stated. there is no evidence it will affect a pregnancy that is already established.

the side effects are usually nausea, breast tenderness and fluid retention.

A BIG DELETE!

I guess I have no advise. lol

also, there are a few different brands of this medicine, it usually costs between 30 and 50 bucks, but some insurance providers will cover the cost. you can get it from your regular doctor, your gynecologist, or at planned parenthood. if you're from california, you can't get it at any pharmacy, even without a prescription. it is available on the internet, but i wouldn't suggest going that route.

I have had to take it once or twice and didn't have too many side effects... A little queasy nothing more.

I am in the UK though so the cost isn't an issue for me, all that kind of thing is free on the heath service.

All I will say is make sure you read the instructions, some need to be taken with food that I have had, it pays to do this as it helps reduce the side effects.
