I think he needs some sleep. what do you think about it?

I missed seeing it. I've been trying to read the transcript, but I'm not doing too great a job focusing now. I'll read in the morning and decide then.

I missed his speech tonight..I was at an all important earth shattering Girl Scout meeting:rolleyes:

Anyway.....from what I have seen I get the impression that it is very high on G.W.'s list of priorities to make "them" Think all is normal. That he is so unrattled he can kick back and watch a little B'ball. I'm pretty sure (I hope) that is the furthest thing from the truth.

That sound much more interesting...

:D

well ....

i loved the end ... when he spoke directly to the children of America ...

and asked each child to send a dollar bill to the White House for the poor starving children in Afghanistan ... of which one in three is an orphan there ...

it will make the children feel like they are contributing something ... doing something for their country ... to help others ... and to do as their president asked ... whoever thought of this wonderful campaign is a genius ... it is a win / win situation ...

and also ... a small Canadian note ... reporter John Roberts - who was addressed by the President on a couple of occasions as "John" - is a Canadian and an ex MuchMusic VJ ... a bit of canadiana trivia within the US Presidential Press Conference ...

Even though I love your tits, I have to disagree.

Its ends a positive message that life has to go on. The entertainment, food & bev. industry is taking it in the shorts right now. People aren't going out or spending money (part of it is unemployment). Politically, the worst thing we can do is show that bearded motherfucker he is succeeding.

I hope we blow the fucktard away very soon.

PS - If he looks sleepy it's because the Astros are playing like shit and getting their asses whipped. He's bored.

I actually found his remarks to be....

quite impressive. He has risen to the occassion. This man, unlike his father, will be able to stay the course because he has the backing of the American people as well as the rest of the "civilized" world. (For me, any country that harbors or supports terrorism of the type that destroyed the WTC is uncivilized).

Didn't see W. at the games. I know Sr. was there for both.

I agree with this. I'm personally going to make sure my kids, aged 4 and 5, earn their dollar and mail it themselves. I've explained that there are children far away with no mamas or daddies and nothing to eat. They asked what they could do to help. I explained about sending a dollar for other children and now all they can think of is what chores they can do to help. They were more than open to the idea. I'm glad I was blessed with such sensative children.
