How do you like yours for breakfast?

hardboiled fried
poached sunny up
over easy scrambled
over hard only the whites
egg beaters etc...

wet and runny, moist and fluffy, dry and cooked through?

with katchup?

whats in your omlette - if you prefer to eat them this way?

with toast? on a bagle sandwich?
white, rye (w/ seads), multi grain, wheat, pumpernickle, sour dough?
dry- with butter, margerine - jelly, jam, marmalade, cream cheese?

(Just incase you do like Tacos )

another food item people could be anal retentive about :)

indulge me...

I dont like eggs I like tacos. I made a taco post in your taco thread about the tacos I like. I like real Mexican restaurant tacos not those taco bell gross things.

Cheese 'n eggs with raisin toast* - Waffle House

*requires extra apple butter

fried - over easy, yolks still runny with plenty of toast
scrambled - with a touch of dill
omelette - cheese and veggies
hardboiled - only in potato salad

Over easy - extra rye toast (seadless) light on the butter

eat all the whites with the toast - each egg gets two pieces of toast.
place yolk on a piece of toast and eat careful not to drip off the bread.
If there is drippage, there is always one extra piece of toast to mop it up with.

Side of homefries - with a little salt sprinkled on, and a little bit of maple syrup too.

Orange* juice ONLY if it is pulpless and cold.
Apple juice with a little ice in it if there isn't any pulpless orange juice.

Omlette- cream cheese mixed in with the eggs with some bacon, and a little cheese melted between.

*Sorta brand loyal to Tropicana.

I like... Faberge eggs ;)

OK- to answer your question...

fried - runny with toast. like Silverlilly mentioned
scrambled - 'soft' so it's a little moist
omelet - bacon and cheese
hardboiled - just the yolks, please

bumpity

I love dinners that serve breakfast all day. M is in the shower, and after we decide which one to go to huzzah for Sundays!

Funny you started this thread cuz I was going to do one about the fact that I scored boneless chicken breasts totally on sale at the store and they had eggs for 34 cents a doz....Im like what did the chickens ever do to them!

lol

Im cooking breasts on my grill right after this post.

I bought two dozen eggs and will hard boil them to eat with a little salt which I enjoy.

I hardly eat breakfast but I now and then do soft boiled eggs and toast, but if I eat breakfast out I always order my eggs sunny side up.

I love dunking and scooping the yokes with me toast.
:)

Oh or a western omlet with cheese, but I may only eat breakfast out twice a year if that.

Fried it has to be sunny side up and plenty of liquid with some toasted soldiers to dip into it.

If its gonna be boiled it has to be soft boiled, again with soldiers but not toasted. Having said that, hardboiled egg in a salad is always nice, but it can smell.

Hate omelettes, salty rubbery pieces of crap. I don't see the point when you could just scramble...

Scrambled I love, with pre-fried onion and cheese. On another forum people seemed to be describing an omellette as a scramble... to clarify, a scramble for me simply has milk added and then is stirred vigurously. Delia "cunt" Smith (cook person tv) says they should be runny, I've never managed to get it as liquid and yet cooked as she has on tv, so I can't say whether its better or not, normally its well cooked though, but not having being stirred too much as to just be a lump of yellow.

I also like my egg to be mixed with flour, milk, sugar and then several other things to make a nice big fattening chocolate cake.

Eggs over easy
Wheat dry toast
Latka's
(with applesauce, sour cream, and ketsup)
Well done bacon
Orange juice..

I used to wake up for fresh tacos and tortillas on the weekends. My daughter would get menudo. ( EWW)

Can't stand eggs. *hurl*

Two eggs up, link sausage, grits, whole wheat toast or cat head biscuits.

or

French toast with lots of confectionery sugar and two eggs up on top.

&

lots of coffee

breakfast of champions

Scrambled. Add a bit of milk, some spices, and you've got yourself a spicy variety.

I like veggie omlettes. I can't see myself eating ham or something in my omlette. Green, red, orange, and yellow peppers, onions, mushrooms, that sort of thing.

Add the spices or not. Either option works. I tend to add chili powder and cumin, as a basic rule. Occasionally I throw in some paprika.
