I don’t understand why trump thinks he should have won Minnesota the last three presidential campaigns.
the last republican candidate to win in Minnesota was Richard Nixon in his second term, and that was only because of the work he did establishing the EPA, the clean air act of 1970, the clean water act, the endangered species act, title nine of the higher education, supplementary, security income, SSI, he created OSHA, the occupational health and safety administration, and a bunch of other things which appeal to Minnesotans so they made an exception and voted for a Republican president. Otherwise Minnesota votes for Democrats.
