I have heard this discussion (drunkenly paraphrased).
Our founding father's (being men of treason) made treason the hardest charge of all to prove (needing two corroborating witnesses) since at the time in England, even stealing a loaf of bread was treason against the crown and punishable by death. John bin Walker cannot be tried for treason (T/F). In fact aren't they [the administration] at a loss for anything to charge him with?
He has so many great defenses like, I had to fight or they would kill me. I was brain-washed (Patty Hearst).
Now that he's in American custody, he is going to get off, isn't he?
I'm not making a value judgement good or bad, just asking for some opinions.
