Am I a Literotica pariah or something? Why do I feel like I kill more threads than the average poster? Is it that I can't let sleeping dogs lie, or is it that I post to things, and people just have no desire to post after I have? Am I a boring mofo?

I was never a Lit "has-been"- I am a Lit "never-was"....

Feel free to show up in any thread I post. I guarantee you won't kill them...they're already dead on arrival, and I could use the exquisite company there. :)

I have never seen you as a thread killer! Never!
I thought I was a thread killer with all my sweetness........

lilminx, we're all thread killers, even the great posters, are thread killers.

Anyway, we don't kill threads, they have their own life and die when their time has come.

We may try to revive, nurse and care for our threads, some are Queen Mothers of threads, but....

well, maybe there's an odd immortal one.

Minxie, don't ever feel that way. I follow you around like a puppy dog here. You are one of my favorite posters. Sometimes we are all the last person on a thread - it happens.

Thanks guys, you all are very sweet...

But I still can't help but feel that I kill more threads than the average poster.

Ruby- if you meant what you said, that is one of the nicest compliments I've gotten on here- especially from someone as cool as you. Btw, I read The Fourth Hand - bizarre, but entertaining. Thanks for sending it. If you want any books (or cookies- I'm baking today), PM me and lets me know, doll. :)

LIt is an odd place. I have many posts and fully have of them have seemed to have no impact good or bad on anyone hear. Honestly, I think that fully 80 percent of what I write never gets read. I think it comes with the territory lil. I find your postings fun and interesting and I don't see you at all as a thread killer. There are times when I am convinced beyond doubt the I am the boring mofo. lol. Tis this territory lil.

I wouldnt say you are a thread killer minxie! I on the other hand have destroyed a few...lol

and since you titled your thread this way, I have one song going thru my head...."Killing me softly"

;)

I have stopped activity on 4 this morning. And I was trying so hard to be cleaver, or cute.

" I feel your pain" I hope it is under your thong. "Bill Clinton"

Of course I meant it, Minxie. :)

I'm glad you liked The Fourth Hand. Was this your first Irving book? He's always a bit off, but I love his books. Hotel New Hampshire and The World According to Garp would be great ones to read if you are in the mood for more Irving. Oh, and A Prayer for Owen Meany. too.

The only thing worst than being a thread killer, is being the ONLY post in your own thread. Now that sucks. :(

I think more people read what's posted than any of us would believe. In just the past few weeks I've had several people comment that they've noticed my posts and actually based an opinion of me from them.

From a posting perspective though sometimes it's difficult to really have something intelligent to say in responce. Just think, if no one posts after you, you haven't 'killed' the thread, you've just 'completed' it!
