regan's explanation did not really seem convincing. maybe IF he had confessed, it would be worth it, but i doubt he did.

it must be said though, that 'free speech' does extend to all, though I favor either seizing the money or the book where a criminal seeks to benefit. (Unfortunately OJ was not convicted)

What's become of the judgment from the Goldmans' wrongful death lawsuit? I read that they have recevied 'zip'. Does anyone know if they can take it from him if he actually gets anything from the book?

The Goldman family has a web site with a petition. They are trying to convince News Corp. to stop publishing the book and showing the interview. They are also trying to convince book sellers to not carry the book and TV sponsors not to advertise during the TV show.

what i heard was that OJ has paid hardly any of the lawsuit award that was in the millions. and the profits from this venture will be shielded from the Goldmans and Browns. perhaps by assigning them to his children.??

Yeah, somehow I don't see her principles outweighing her greed. It might be much ado about nothing. Every poll taken shows that no one plans on watching it. Does anyone really care about OJ anymore? He's so far out of the headlines, I wonder if even the Jerry Springer audience will tune in. It will be funny if it pulls bad ratings (because the sponsorship is rumored to be VERY low...no one wants to be tied to this pile of shit).

The really scary thing is that OJ's current lawyer said that the kids signed off on this and are behind it. Can you even imagine after all the suspicion about their father while they were growing up, now having him say this is how he would have killed their mother (if he really did it...of course)? How fucked up is that?

I agree with that. Judith Regan expects to make a lot of money out of , and that is her motivation. She may gain other benefits, but if it was a losing or just break even proposition, she wouldn't do it.

Absolutely. I've been as appalled as most of you by the hype surrounding this non-event. But I thought she presented her side of it effectively, not his side, but her own motivation for spending millions on a project like this. Or maybe she's just in it for the money.
