I was kinda pissed with the outcome yesterday...clock shoulda ran out, but, thems the breaks, they shoulda stopped em on the last play and couldnt, state earned the win...I didnt mind losing that one all that bad, the running back for MSU that kicked our ass is from kalamazoo, used to watch him play in HS here, he's one strong kid!

Hey, it's nice to see so many from Ohio. I'm from Northeast Ohio by way of Southeastern Pennsylvania. I happen to live in the secondary snow belt, which sometimes gets hit much harder than the main snow belt. The winter we moved here, the temperatures hit a record low. It was 21 degrees below zero for 4 days in a row. I'm not talking about wind chill either....I mean the real temperature. Then one year we had a record snow - 121 inches. But, I have grown quite fond of Ohio, to be honest with you. The people are all very friendly and I've met many people just by saying hello to them in grocery stores. Yes, I'm the one you dread in the produce aisle...I'm the one who will start a conversation.

It's nice to meet all of you Ohioans.

Michigan here, up north. No lake effect here, becuse we are to far from the lake. But any place closer to the edge, on any of 4 coasts, we get hit HARD with lake effect. But then, we have 4 of the 5 lakes to contend with.

I was raised in an area alot closer to the coast then where I live now, and I hated the winters down there. It gets colder where I am now, but it doesn't snow nearly as much. We get that awful nasty bitter cold wind, though.

Ya, you guys get hit hard for snow. I had a couple of friends who lived up there outside of the school year, who would be excited to see out thier bedroom windows during spring break, and they were in one of those houses that has mid floor levels, so the top floor is up a bit higher then a normal floor, but lower then a normal 2nd story. That's a whole lotta snow.

Maybe that's why all us trolls say you must not have anything better to do then watch sports, drink beer, and have sex. (DUCK- even if the person IS related!.... JK)

Michigan here too....closer to Lake Michigan than Gilly is, and yes we get the Lake effect here...lets see, just two weeks ago...two inches of snow in three hours...hows that for an effect??
