Cleveland used to have plenty until the darn politicians decided they could get elected by shutting them down.

Dayton
It has been over twenty years since I lived in Dayton, but back then there were three place that were always good. Just not sure if they would still be there.
The first was the downtown gay bar (I think on 2nd Street). The next was the downtown ABS (just south of downtown, on the main drag to Kettering, before you got to the NCR complex, and Standard Register). The third was the local bath house. They did require a one year membership to get in, and you always had to pay an admission fee, and either rental of a locker or private room. Of course, there are plenty of other place to explore and play around Dayton. Just try any of the bars outside the main gates of WPAFB any weekday evening between 6 and 12.
