Ohio Football Thread

Well several people have asked so I guess I shall start it. For now, football and any other Ohio sport can be talked about here. Or anything else for that matter. The only thing that I ask is if you have a conflict with someone please take care of it with pm's and not in the thread.

Okay so now where to start? I guess with anyone that has any clue about what happened today. I missed the game and don't have a clue as to what happened except for the score.

I got that impression from the final score. I think a bigger question would be how much do other people think that all the hubbub has affected the team?

Well ... Ohio sports, eh? Well it wasn't a good day for Ohio State or OU ... but Miami University and Bowling Green did well! Being a Miami alum, I've got to say I'm a happy camper. Unfortunately it was they who did the crushing of OU ...

Go Bengals...

Yeah, go Bengals...kinda sad to see them tank today against the Ravens, though. I know Kitna was sick, and about 5-6 other players were too, but that just was not a very good game.

Then again, in my opinion, it might not be the best thing for the Bengals to make the playoffs this year anyway. I mean, if they make the playoffs, it just makes it that much harder for the coaches to put Carson Palmer into the starting lineup next year. Also, it will gove us something to look forward to next year.

Then again on the other hand, I'd love to see Kitna lead them to the playoffs this year. He's a great person, and really deserves to excel in this league. He's had so many bad times during his career that it's good to see him getting some good breaks finally.
