I've just been made redundant whilst on sick leave. Frantic phonecalls to various departments about how my SSP and possible redundancy money are remaining unanswered - bearing in mind I'm still owed LAST MONTHS SSP and have about £0 in my account at the moment.

How sensible to do this to someone who's off for stress and depression related illnesses. Fuckers.

PS: My boss tried his hardest to have all the information when he called me but was told by various departments himself that *I* had to call and they would only discuss it with me - as it was made public within the company today, chances of getting an answer are slim to none.

Christ. *HUGS*

It's sickening how people try to avoid responsibility.

I once had a company that closed their office on me over a weekend. Moved and left no forwarding address.

*hugs* thats bloody awful JL. I hope you get your answers (and payment) soon.

I'm alternating between fury and sobbing right now. I can't handle this, I don't want to go back on the job market with over a year's sickleave on my CV - Who in hell will employ me at a decent wage with that on there?

Just curious... How long were you on this job?

I'm puzzled as to what you mean by that. :confused:Do you mean you took a year's worth of sick leave while employed? That would be a very negative think to have on a resume. If you have a year of sick leave accumulated, that should be a plus because it would mean you aren't sick very often.
