Oh, the weather outside . . .

Ick. Tornadoes already with this storm. Large hail, serious thunderstorm warnings already.

I'm lighting candles, getting out the flashlights. We've already charged the cell phones and gameboys, have a pile of new books stashed in the basement and a battery-powered radio set to go.

I hope we don't lose power. How will I view porn on my computer???

See the TOP on the map? We're 20 miles east of that.

It's a-coming.

Which means it has already pounded a few other Kansas AH'ers - I hope everyone is ok.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you. I guess we'll be getting it tomorrow.

Thank you, sweetie.

It seems to be building - I wonder about the storm track.

You see those red blotches just SW of EMP? That's where I was driving last night when you posted this. It was a, erm, challenge. I told my wife that if she heard the rumble strips on the shoulder, I was there on purpose. The fog line fades out on US 50 at some points and I'd rather be off right than left.

First time I've seen two accidents worked within 50 miles. One was a semi blown over the other two cars. I bet wind was the factor in both.

And we're in the box again. Til 9 pm.

I wondered about you last night. You were going to be close to my neck of the woods, if I recall, even having dinner nearby?

I was hoping I wouldn't hear word on the news that a tornado destroyed a certain eating establishment.

(Glad you made it home safely.)

We had changed our minds and ate on the run. Probably worked out for the best. Went through Topeka around 8.

We had some nice hail today, but the winds were low, so it wasn't too bad. There's supposed to be more tomorrow. Gotta love spring in tornado alley. Honestly, tho, I kinda prefer it to hurricane season.

You sent it right my way, SJ. High winds and nasty clouds at the moment, not to mention lack of power.
