Spice Girls May Get Back Together, As 'Scary' And 'Sporty' Mels Meet

(9/29/02, 10 a.m. ET) - The Spice Girls could reunite for a concert tour and a new album. Former "Scary Spice" Melanie Brown has begun making overtures to former members of the 1990s U.K. girl-group sensation.

Brown flew to the U.S. on September 23 to meet with former "Sporty Spice" Melanie Chisholm, according to British newspaper the Sun. The paper says the ex-Spices are considering a Spice Girls stadium tour of the world. Chisolm and former "Ginger Spice" Geri Halliwell, who was the first to leave the quintet, have enjoyed the greatest solo success on the charts.
