A long gone and fondly remembered former poster here directed me to this.

Read the short book in the first post.

You'll never feel bad about what you write ever again.

Rob, can't we get PETA or the ASPCA to file a suit against that, that, whatever it is?

Rumple Foreskin

I'd just as soon it didn't get any publicity, Rumple. ;)

Oh wait. I already did that.

Wow.

I think I need a doobie right about now.

LaTawnya?

That's too close for comfort, I'm thinking.

The most frightening thing is it was apparently published. Which means that not only did the author think it was a good idea, she apparently got enough other people to think it was a good idea too.

Maybe she slept with them all?

That was bad in a deep deep way. I think it may even be healthier to do drugs and smoke than to ever read that again. In fact, I may have already gotten some incurable disease by reading it just that once.

I miss him/her/it/they. I wonder if Shanglan does drugs? Prolly after reading this...

Vantage Press: If you pay for it, we'll publish it.

I would like to thank Rob for bringing this to our attention. "Thank you, Rob."

That may have just given me the strength I need to stop smoking drugs, at last.

Please keep them away from horses. They seem to be more susceptible to drugs than we realized.

*shakes head and sighs* at least I was a good influence?

Makes me wish my name wasn't frequently used for animals...

The artwork alone should send this abomination to the shredder. :(

There are some seriously troubled people out there, I wish I could say 'Thanks Rob' :D

No.

If you read further down the thread, it was published by Vantage Press which is a vanity press.........the author paid to have it published, no quality control at all.

Thank god.

And if you read even further, apparently there are copies available on Amazon!!

I kept thinking it was a joke, and was waiting for the punch line in the thread.
I...I.....I...words fail me.

I'd post on this thread, but I can't because I take drugs and technically I'm dead

...And a very naughty horse, to boot ;)

Personally, I found it a rather poignant and bittersweet story about Latawyna's coming of age with a clear and socially relevant message: horses shouldn't smoke and drink.

And I really want to figure out a way of making one of those pics of the horses smoking and swigging from a 40 ouncer of booze as my new AV. :D
