Yes, I'm making fun of the majority of personal ads which are from guys trying to be clever enough enough to try an attract he attention of the Lady Litsters.

There have been a few that have garnered some attention, but those would be the exception.
Most ads are, though sincere, just useless. Seriously guys (and I do mean GUYS), if you want attention from the lady Litsters, go, interact with them on the public threads. Be witty, be clever, be funny. Engage their interest.

There's nothing really wrong with it, and it doesn't make you a bad person, but they do seem to be quite ineffective in most cases.
