Tood, unless they plan on invading Canada and taking it by force, I'm pretty sure we're still safe being our own country. I doubt that just because Bush and his party are in power, he's suddenly going to forget about Iraq and attack the dangerous country to the north. And they can have as many ideas as they'd like, unless it's an invasion, you'll find about 3% of Canadians in any way interested in becoming the 51st state.

I prefer to have one party control the president and a different party control the senate. I think that makes things a lot better all around.
