The text of the 14th Amendment contains two requirements for acquiring automatic citizenship by birth: one must be born in the United States and be subject to its jurisdiction.

There is not any talk of changing the law. Once again Trump intends to enforce it. The Constitution is not the bible. Interpretation is clear. When contested there is a court and congress for that. This one has been contested several times. All outcomes are as Trump says. The 14th Amendment does not guarantee citizenship for the child or the parent.
