Zach kicked back on the bed of his hotel room, flicking through the channels without finding anything to hold his interest. Boredom was setting in, and for an early Saturday afternoon that didn't bode well for the rest of the weekend.

He'd finished up interviews yesterday afternoon for a regional accounts manager position with a rapidly expanding medical device company. The interviews went very well in his opinion and he was hoping to get word one way or the other by Monday. Rather than fly back to Philly, where he'd just quit his job and wife after discovering the latter was having an affair with his boss at the former, Zach had decided to just stay here in Port Revel through the weekend and get a feel for the town. After driving around for a bit on his own last night following the interview, he'd lost some enthusiasm for that plan. It wasn't anything against the modest city - he rather liked it, actually - it was more the sense of loneliness. He didn't know anyone and was still in a funk from the tattered remains of his life he'd built over the last ten years.

His complaint, sent to a good friend via text, was answered with the suggestion he try an escort service. He tried to laugh off his friend's suggestion as bullshitting around, but his friend replied with some sincerity. "Seriously, man. You could use some no-strings fun. Find one who'll show you around town first."

Zach considered it for a while. It smacked of desperation, but slowly grew on him as his hotel room felt increasingly stifling. He'd never done anything of the sort before, but maybe his friend was right. He needed to get out. He needed to put the mess of his marriage behind him. And, for now, he didn't need any attachments.

He did a little searching for escorts in Port Revel. The city was small enough that it was relatively slim pickings. No proper service, per se, but a handful of independent women offering various services. Most of them seemed to be little more than veiled offers of prostitution. The last one, however, caught his attention. "Jessica" offered companionship for various functions, including business formal, weddings, dinner, coffee, and simply cuddle and conversation. Sounded like she might at least be willing to show him around town. Her picture, if honest, was of an attractive younger woman, probably in her late 20's. It had been carefully cropped and framed to hint at her face without revealing her identity.

It wouldn't be cheap, but if he landed this job he'd probably be making that much more per week over what he had back in Philly. He talked himself into at least sending an inquiring email.

Jessica -

Saw your ad for escort services. I'm visiting town, considering a move here, and wouldn't mind having a local show me around a bit. Late afternoon or evening, include dinner? I'm free through the rest of the weekend.

Thanks,
Paul

He considered using his real name, but he was slightly paranoid about getting set up. It looked good enough. He wasn't sure if it was polite or expected to ask about other services or not, but figured they could sort that out later if he ever heard back.

Heart pounding just a bit harder than normal, he clicked send.

Lana Carmichael moved to Port Revel about 3 years ago from Texas and her ex, as the song goes, all my ex’s live in Texas. She had secured a job at a medical device company and had moved up the ladder fairly quickly. She had her eye set on her next position and she was going to get it!

Lana got home from work late and decided to pour a glass of wine after a long stressful day. Her clothes fell off as she made her way to her bedroom. Slipping on her favorite t-shirt she sat down at her computer to check her emails from her second job. She is an escort, yep that’s right an escort. Her family would die if they knew what she did as a second job but it made her life so much easier. As she scanned the emails one stood out,

“Jessica -

Saw your ad for escort services. I'm visiting town, considering a move here, and wouldn't mind having a local show me around a bit. Late afternoon or evening, include dinner? I'm free through the rest of the weekend.

Thanks,
Paul”

This was certainly a different kind of request. Most of Lana’s requests were for the usual sex with no dinner. She didn't mind those but it was becoming a pattern and to be honest boring. She needed something exciting in her life. There was something about the email that made her grin, as she thought of the possibilities this one encounter could have. Her fingers began to type her response,

“Hi Paul,

I would love to show you around town, especially if you’re considering a move. I know a perfect place for dinner. I’m free tomorrow night around 6:00pm, would that time work for you?

Looking forward to painting the town red,

Jessica"

She had to go back and correct her name, she always forgot to use Jessica when she was responding to her escort emails. One day it was going to come back to bite her.

Lana gave the email a once over and hit the send button.

Zach hit the hotel's exercise room for a while to kill time and keep up with his routine. He'd found it took extra effort to stay in shape with all the traveling and business lunches and dinners it usually entailed. After, he stripped, showered, and toweled off, and then flopped on the hotel bed to check his email.

He was nervously excited when he saw a response from the escort. The reply was promising. At least it sounded like she was eager to fulfill his request. As a businessman, though, he knew that it was important to establish expectations in any business arrangement. For her, or both of them, that's what this was.

He fired back a quick reply:

6 tomorrow will work fine. Where should we meet? And, just so I'm prepared, what do you charge for a service like this? Or for other services?

Paul

He still felt embarrassed that he was doing this, or asking for prices. To her, though, it was probably another day on the job. She sounded nice enough in email, so at least he had more optimism than reservations.

Lana went into the bathroom to start her bath (you have to indulge sometimes), as the bath was filling she decided to light her favorite black cherry candle setting it on the counter. Turning the dimmer switch, so only the flame from the candle lights the room. She walked to the kitchen in her favorite t-shirt, grabbed another glass of wine, pouring what she could of the wine into the glass, and then pounding what was left from the bottle itself. She was beginning to feel a little of the day's stresses starting to vanish.

Standing beside the tub inhaling the scent of black cherry, setting the glass down on the ledge of the tub, pulled off the t-shirt that was hugging her trim and fit body. Lana grabbed a nice fluffy towel for after. One foot into the tub and then the other, ummm a little hot but nice; sitting down, the water burning her ass cheeks but also feeling good at the same time. She started the Jacuzzi aiming the jets towards the muscles that needed to be massaged.

Lana started thinking about the email from Paul, and the innocence of it all. How would she act going to dinner and then showing someone around town. This was totally out of the normal for her. What would she wear? How would she wear her hair? Oh the stress was starting all over again.

She took another long sip of her wine and submerged her body in the water, feeling the jets sooth her aching muscles. After cleaning off, she heads back to her bedroom, deciding to hit the hay a bit early.

Passing by the computer she sees that she has an email from Paul. Quickly she opens the email and reads his response. Lana begins to wonder if she should respond right away or wait? What the heck as she starts to pound out her reply,

Hi Paul,

Great, I'm glad the time works for you. You can meet me at the entrance to the park on Main Street, the restaurant is not far from there and it will give us a little time to discuss what other services you might want. The guided tour and dinner will be $200. I promise it will be well worth it.

Since you've already seen my picture then I'll leave what I'm wearing as a surprise.

See ya then,

Jessica

Without hesitation, she hits the send button and crawls into bed.

Zach's hesitation about the arrangement faded a bit after reading Jessica's reply. Dinner, guided tour, and "other services." He didn't really know what to ask for with regard to the latter, but he had a few vague ideas.

The following day stretched on as he waited for dinner. He did a little exploring around town on his own, mostly with an eye toward neighborhoods he might be interested in. Before dinner, he showered and shaved (yes, including those bits...no one likes flossing with the short and curlies, should it come to that) and then dug through his clothes to find something to wear. He hadn't packed much aside from business attire and workout clothes. He settled on a blue, button down shirt, khaki slacks, and leather shoes.

He looked in the mirror before heading out. At a shade over six feet tall and fit, with dark hair and piercing eyes, he knew he could catch some attention. With the extra cash on hand he'd picked up earlier, he left the room and drove to the specified location. He parked on the street and walked to the park entrance.

Jessica's photo from the ad was discreet enough he had been afraid he might not recognize her, but there were very few people out enjoying the mild evening. When he spied a drop dead gorgeous young woman walking his way and their eyes met, he knew he'd found her.

Lana rushed into the house at full speed, she was running really late. She had meant to leave work just a bit earlier than she did, but her boss made sure that didn't happen. Into a quick shower she went.

She stood in front of her closet wondering what to wear. She wanted to make a big impression but not appear to eager. She finally picked out the perfect dress. It was one of her favorites, laced black, sleeveless with a choker collar, it had a deep red corset underlying that left a little peek of her cleavage and little peek at her thighs. It was the perfect dress. Lana quickly applied a little makeup to refresh what she already had on. Her dark brown hair was always a mess, so the easiest thing to do was throw a braid in it and call it a day. She grabbed her purse and out the door she went.

On the drive over she realized that she didn't even know what he looked like, how could she have missed such an important detail. Her stomach started doing twists and turns. Lana pulled into the parking lot just after 6 and made her way to the entrance of the park.

Rounding the corner she spotted a tall, very fit man with dark hair and piercing eyes. As she approached him their eyes locked and she knew she found Paul.

Zach could scarcely believe his luck. He'd expected the picture from Jessica's ad would be on the optimistic or touched up side. If anything, it didn't do her justice.

Her calling him by his middle name threw him for a moment.

"Right, Paul," he said, quickly recovering and offering her his hand. "Pleasure to meet you, Jessica."

He gave her dress, and fetching figure, another look.

"You're, wow, beautiful," he said. "I love the dress.

"I have to confess, I've never done anything like this before. Forgive me if I don't know the proper, uh, etiquette."

Lana was mesmerized by Paul's piercing eyes, she just couldn't look away. She walked up to this tall stranger and asked "Are you Paul?"

She reached for his hand and pulled him closer to her to give him a kiss on the cheek, "It's my pleasure to meet you."

Lana could feel her cheeks redden at Paul's comment, "Thank you very much" she said as she did a quick little twirl.

"Don't be nervous, just relax, have fun" she said "It will all fall into place"

Lana grabbed Paul's hand and began to walk down the path into the park.

Zach was afraid he'd forget to go by "Paul" before the evening was out. It was too weird being called that.

On the upside, in addition to being incredibly beautiful, Jessica did a remarkable job of putting him at ease. The kiss on the cheek, taking him by the hand, her overall warmth - it all worked. Especially that twirl. Shapely legs and an ass to die for.

"So, did you grow up in Port Revel, or move here?"

Lana felt the stress of meeting someone new the moment she kissed his cheek. She was hoping that he wasn't a nervous as he seemed in the beginning.

As they walked down the path, Paul started some conversation.

"I moved here from Texas, right after I got a divorce." Lana stated. "What about you Paul, why Port Revel?"

There was something so calming about Paul, she couldn't quite put her hand on it, yet.

"You, too, huh?" Zach was a little surprised to find common ground so easily. "Just finalized my own divorce. Things soured at work as well. Decided it was time for a change of scenery and I'd heard good things about Port Revel. Downsizing a bit, but warmer than Philly."

He inadvertently bumped and leaned into Jessica when he missed a curve in the park trail, so engrossed was he with her. He couldn't deny the simple pleasure of the touch of her hand or comfort of her presence.

"Sorry," he said, but was slow to separate.

"You like it here? Glad you made the move?"

"Wow, I can't believe we have so much in common in so little time" Lana said as they continued down the path. "It's beautiful here this time of the year, the leaves change into their fall colors and it's like a whole different world."

Lana felt Paul rub against her as he cut the corner a bit too sharp. She grinned as she caught him staring at her.

Lana laughed, "It's quite alright, these paths have quite a bit of curves in it"

"Oh yes, I'm very glad I made the move here, it's like no other place I've ever been too." Lana said as she stopped in front of a quaint little restaurant.

Lana smiled at Paul and said, "We're here, I hope you like seafood?"

"You're making me glad I picked Revel," he said. "Sounds nice.

"And, yes, I love seafood. I always expect better when in a coastal town."

He reached for the door as they approached and held it for her. His first impression after he followed her in was that it was small, cozy, and inviting - dim candlelight, wonderful smells, and the gentle clanking of tableware and glasses.

"Nice."

"Oh, then you're going to love this place" Lana said as he held the door open for her. She could feel his eyes on her as she walked past him and into the restaurant.

Lana flashed Paul a smile as they waited for the hostess to seat them. It wasn't long before they were at their table.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was perfect, Lana couldn't have been more happy at her choice.

The hostess settled them in a corner booth, seemingly tucked away from the rest of the world by discreet half walls, plants, and other knick-knacks. For a corner booth, it was still small and intimate, and they sat close to one another, knees occasionally touching. Zach took a look at the wine menu and made a selection before turning to the regular menu.

"I take it you've been here before," he said. "Any recommendations?"

He hoped Jessica would make some suggestions because it was difficult for him to focus on anything but her.

Lana had made sure that they would be seated in the back corner booth away from everyone else. She visited this place many times before and knew that this particular spot would give them all the privacy they needed.

After Paul made the wine selection, Lana took the menu from him and told him, "Don't worry, I'll order for the both of us."

Lana rattled off some selections from the menu to the waitress. She smiled at Paul as they handed over their menus. "I'm sure you're going to love everything I ordered." she said as she sipped her wine.

Lana leaned over to Paul and said, "I have a confession to make. Jessica is not my real name. I use it for the escort service but for some reason I just felt the need to tell you. My real name is Lana."

A wave of relief washed over Lana, knowing she didn't have to remember who she was.

Zach was a little taken aback by her admission of her real name. He understood why she used it, and had expected as much. He had as well, after all. No, he was surprised she would confess it, especially so soon into their "date." A very small, cynical part of him wondered if that was an act, something to get him to relax and buy into her role. If so, she was frighteningly good at her job. He didn't really believe that, though... It had the ring of truth.

"Nice to meet you, Lana," he said, shaking her hand. "And I'm Zach. Had no idea what I was getting myself into, so figured it was prudent."

With Lana leaning in close, he could pick up a hint of fragrance to her. Perfume or just from her hair, he couldn't be certain, but it was inviting.

"So, what all do you have planned for after dinner? Or should I just wait and be surprised?"

Lana laughed when Paul said his name was Zach, "It seems we both had different ideas about using our real names."

"Oh I think you knew exactly what you were doing, Zach. Lana said as she winked at him.

"I thought we would just play it by ear really. Tell me some of the things that you would like to see or do and we can go from there, or we could just get to know one another a little more?"

The food started to arrive as Lana slid off her high heel and rubbed her foot up against Zach's leg.

Lana was really liking the company of Zach, he was laid back but seemed mysterious at the same time.

Zach was about to answer Lana's question when their appetizer platter arrived - breaded calamari with some sort of house dipping sauce. It looked and smelled fantastic.

Then he felt Lana's foot brush up against his leg. For a fleeting moment, he thought she might have just bumped him from their close proximity, but then she started to playfully rub up and down. He caught her eye for a split second, earning a smile, before she turned her attention to the calamari.

This woman was amazing. She'd already caught his attention and imagination with her dress and easy manner. It seemed everything she had done since only served to fan those flames.

"Well, how about we get to know one another over dinner," he said, pausing to take a bite of the delectable food. "Then maybe you can show me some of the downtown and any neighborhoods that might work for a newly arrived, freshly single guy, while we get to know each other some more. And then, when we're done with that, if there are still any secrets between the two of us, maybe we can knock a couple of those out."

He took another bite and then reached for his glass of wine. "This really is excellent."

Try as he might to focus on their conversation, she was doing a fine job of distracting him. This was promising to be a very fun evening.

Lana was so glad the food arrived when it did, she was starving!

She felt like a school girl that was about ready to pass a note to the boy next to her asking him if he liked her. Lana giggled and smiled at Zach. She then turned her attention to her food.

"That sounds like a plan to me. There are some fine places to live here. The Garden District is very nice." Lana said as her foot was still rubbing up and down Zach's leg.

"Some secrets are better left unsaid, don't you think?" Lana replied with a slight grin

"I'm so glad you are enjoying yourself, the food here is excellent." she said proudly.

Lana took a sip of her wine and turned to look at Zach and found him staring at her. "Is everything alright?"

Zach blinked at her question and then felt a bit of heat rise in his face as he realized he'd been staring...and caught doing so.

"Yeah, sorry. Everything's great. Guess, I just...well, let's say this isn't quite what I was expecting for tonight. In a good way. Very good way."

He started to reach for another breaded ring of calamari goodness, but hesitated when he noticed a tiny dollop of the zesty dip clinging to the corner of Lana's mouth. Instinctively, he reached across and wiped it off with a finger. He then froze like a kid caught with his hand in the cookie jar, realizing he may have overstepped his bounds a bit.

"Sorry," he said, still holding the finger before her face. "Little bit of dip..."

Lana laughed, "What were you expecting?"

Zach surprised her when he reach for her to wipe off some dip that she had in the corner of her mouth. For a moment there, she thought he was going to kiss her. She had been thinking about his lips touching her for better part of the evening now.

"Thanks, I can get a bit messy when I'm hungry." she said as their main course was arriving. Her eyes smiled as the waitress set their food down.

Lana looked over at Zach and said, "Lets dig in!"

Zach licked clean the finger he'd used to wipe clean the wayward dip. Then the food arrived... And it looked excellent. Nice sampler plate of seafood.

He had to concede, Lana was not a dainty eater. That she could pack away food like that and have such a trim, fit figure suggested she stayed very active. He liked that in a girl.

He attacked his crab legs first. After savoring a couple he picked the conversation back up.

"So, what kind of things do you like to do for fun?" Aside from rubbing your foot up my leg, he didn't say. In spite of her focus on eating, she still hadn't stopped doing that. Quite the multitasker.

Lana eyed Zach as he licked his finger after swiping the dip from her mouth. If that was any indication, she was in for a treat. She wasn't sure if it was something he did unconsciously, or if he meant for her to see it , she was hoping it was the latter.

She went back to attacking her food, not sure if it was exceptionally good or if it was that she was just that hungry. It's a good thing she jogged everyday and did a light workout twice a week, or else she wouldn't be able to indulge like she did.

After taking a sip of wine, Lana answered Zach's question, "Well, I jog everyday and workout twice a week. I also love going antiquing and watching old movies. There are some town activities that come up that I enjoy attending. I'm sure you'll get a taste of that if you decide to move here."

Lana wiped her mouth with her napkin as her phone began to ring. She glanced at the number and knew she had to take it. She looked at Zach, "Excuse me, I must take this." Lana rose from the table and walked out to the patio that was just behind their booth.

"Yeah, no problem," Zach said as she excused herself. His eyes followed her tight ass until she was out of sight. That dress certainly highlighted her figure. And from the sound of it, she worked diligently to maintain it.

While waiting, he picked at his food and fired off a quick text to Jack, the friend who'd suggested he find an escort. "Good call, man. This girl is amazing. Can't wait to see where the evening goes."

He slipped his phone back into his pocket and waited for Lana to return, eager to watch her slinky walk from the front again.
