1,400 more Marines are to be sent to Afghanistan; their purpose: to help make a final offensive push against the enemies before we start drawing down there.
This past week, a reveiw suggests that there has been no lessening of the number of Taliban than before the current push began.
Vice President Biden travels to Afghan and Pakistan this week as the face of this new round, and to overtly represent the giving of more "military, intelligence, and economic" aid to the corrupt Pakistani intelligence/military/political apparati. Pakistan had already been budgeted to receive $3B+ in 2011 before this decision. How much more money is being covertly spent by our government on secret activities that will result in like waste cannot be known to America's own citizens, as cannot the billions and billions already given to the Afghans and Pakistanis.
Meanwhile in Islamic Sudan, our government is negoitating with the Muslim tyrant who has ruled for 21 years and has an international arrest warrant on his head for charges of committing genocide in Sudan's western region of Darfur. The Obama administration isn't bringing that up, but is offering the murderous crook removing his part of the country from our terrorist list, reestablishment of full ties, and new economic and development aid. You see, after decades of murder and madness, this tyrant is losing a third of his land, nearly a quarter of his population and much of its main moneymaker - oil - when the south Sudanese vote for independence today.
With the aid and obvious support of the Obama administration, the killer al-Bashir and his brutal political party are guaranteed to stay in power in the north. So much so that one inside the murder's political and military party is quoted as saying they, "expect to see some kind of improvement in their relationship with the U.S. and the West more generally." Lovely, no?
In the Ivory Coast, the Obama administration continues to negoitiate with another dictator over how he can advantageously step down from a tyrannical reign he's imposed for 10 years, after losing the recent free election, and even while the bozo insists there's a "Franco-American plot" against him. Still in power and refusing to cede, Gbagbo's storm troopers not only imprison the newly elected president in a hotel, but they also surround the UN troops there to give the new guy some moral support (I guess).
And in a Somali where American blood, money, and principle was long ago shed, wasted, and abandoned, the Al-Qaida-linked terrorists Al-Shabab, who control two thirds of the country, have made it law - punishable by imprisonment, whipping, and even execution - that unrelated women and men cannot speak to or walk or shake hands with each other in public. Women are already banned from working outside the home, and are beaten simply for not wearing terrorist-approved dress.
Next year, there will be more than 10 elections all over Africa...
...the Islamic Shia terrorist and American killer al-Sadr has returned from Iraq-US-Iran negoitiated "exile" to take his place in the newly formed Iraqi government...
...and as the date draws nearer for our alledged withdraw from Afghanistan, negiotiations with the Taliban will mean more money to them, after all our blood they've spilled, and all the American principles we've killed.
As I grew older and thus more aware, I became ashamed of my country's "involvement" in so many political affairs of others. And in almost every situation, it seemed to me the ill effects that almost always followed were rooted by our compromising fundamental American principles. Today, this traitorous activity has become so entrenched that hardly any Americans recognize what we're doing, let alone care.
I've lived in the terms of 11 presidents and everyone of them is guilty of squandering the blood of our dearest, the money of our neediest, and the principles of our American soul.
Homie don't play that game no more...
