Do you have any habits that others would consider odd?

Personal example, I love Cracklin' Oat Bran. Or as I call it Dog Food. I remember trying it for the first time when I was maybe ten years old at my grandmothers house, she always had awesome cereal, but I did not think of it again until I was about seventeen and saw it in the grocery store. As I type this, I have an open box sitting on my desk and I'm eating it dry. Usually I love to make a bowl and let it soak up the milk to get nice and chewy.

Another personal example, I keep a running monologue in my head. I've done it as long as I can remember. At times it takes on a slight Bogart tone depending on the mood (one of the girls I dated made me constantly hear drums when she walked) but it is usually just my voice narrating my life in my head. Sometimes it's a line or two of a story that I one day want to use and at other times I'm lost in thought for a good five to ten minutes. Granted, those times are usually about some story or plot I am trying to work out at the time but other times it just goes.

Basically, I realize I'm a little odd and I'm hoping I'm not the only one.

:D

Please, for my sanity, share.

Cracklin' Oat Bran is good, but a bit expensive for a cereal.

I was told just the other day that I was odd for eating my entire hamburger before starting on the fries.

I hum without knowing I'm doing it. I constantly have music in my head and occasionally it escapes...

If i get a song stuck in my head that I hate, or that gets irritating, then I deliberately sing 'Rose on a Grave' (by Seal?) which, for some reason, is guaranteed to get the other song out of my head and leave a blank canvas for a while. I've used this technique since I was at least 9 or 10.

Currently I have Meatloaf in my head and yes, I think I just caught myself humming.
"You took the words right out of my mouth, oh it must have been while you were kissing me..."

My daily routine is completely made up of odd habits, as I am superstitious and quite insane...it would be hard for me to pick just one thing. I do usually start out the day with a bowl of Cracklin' Oat Bran and rice milk. Don't know if that will make Togitc feel more normal or more fucked up. ;)

Oh, I just remembered. Every once in a while I check the ceiling above my office stairwell for Vampires, and behind my shower curtain for the Xenomorphs from Aliens.

I had to watch the news religiously for about a month to make sure the dead had not risen.

what's Cracklin' Oat Bran and why is it weird to eat it?

Nothing really weird about it. Aside from it looking similar to dog chow and being 25 and buying Bran Ceral.

Rice milk? eww :p

I don't think so, but I appear to be stalking you this morning.

I'm ok with that.

I speak in two voices. One higher voice that is easier for people the hear and my natural lower voice that I only use around people I trust or when I don't care if people hear me or not.
