OOC: Star Wars: Return of the Sith

Hey all.

I am looking for anyone who would like to do a Star Wars RP. I am thinking of this being set some time after Return of the Jedi, and having the Sith come back, and we have a story of the Jedi vs the Sith, good vs evil and such.

I have no idea for my char' yet, or the full story at this point. I am waiting to see if any one else would like to join.

I don't know as much as a hardkore fan does, but I know enough.

The role play is easy to get the hang off. My first ORP was Gladiators when I was Macbeth.

IC) Kelson could feel the force flowing as a slight breeze all around him...through him. The force was everywhere and everyone. Yet he had control over it, through his long years of study and iron-clad discipline, he had managed to force his will upon the thing...much as the mages in the ancient stories told of.

Ahh, but he was a real and they...well...were they real, they no longer lived. At the age of 36 he was still a considerably young jedi compared to the masters in the council, but unlike a few of them, he could still do whatever he wished. With a smile, Kelson's arms grew taunt, sinewy muscle straining to outdo its countering muscle, and the force welled up around him as might a flock of birds over a morsel of food. His breath slipping out easily, Kelson released directed the energies welling within him and he slowly lifted his apprentice into the air.

"See, young one? It takes no great strain on me, yet I lift 200lbs of man. That...that is the greatness of the mind."

Kelson relaxed his channeling of the force and slowly allowed his apprentice to rest once again on the ground, whispering, "You're turn"

Sounds pretty good.

Not sure if I want to join just yet, but I'll keep an eye open. I'm thinking of being a Sith...

Hold up there!

Kelson, you can't just come in here take things over, and say he is that or she is this. It is up to them to what they want to be.

And we have not started yet. This is just a casting call.

Info: So far in his Jedi training, he has shown much potential. However, his one downfall is the fact that he lets his emotions get the better of him often. He knows that he needs to "feel" the force, not "think" about it and will it to happen, but still finds it hard to do this. He has already crafted his own lightsaber, with a green "blade".

What do you think? Anything else I've forgotten to include, gimme a yell... any suggestions or anything like that are welcome.

Viser was accepted by a wandering Sith master who could feel the hate in the young boy. After years of training Viser finally got the best of his teacher during a sparring session and he couldnt hold back, killing his master. Now he wanders the universe looking for battles, fighting is the only way he ever feels any pleasure, looking for that next fight. Always looking, searching...

Okay...let me make sure I got this down right...

A Sith is just the opposite of the Jedi, correct? Meaning, an "Evil Jedi"?
I just wanna make sure I'm getting the concept before I assume and get it all wrong.
Also, now that we have two Siths, maybe I'll go Jedi. An overabundance on the evil side might be too stressful on the plotline.
It's nice to see this thread getting some support.

Bio/Info: Raised by a small community on a mining colony, his parents having abandoned him there, Marius stowed away on a mining ship headed for a "Rebel" planet, though the empire had apparently faced defeat by this time. Reaching the planet, he met a Jedi, Raine DuVall, and managed to befriend her, convincing the Jedi to take him on as an apprentice. Having a crush on Raine, a beautiful brunette with a perfectly athletic form, Marius hung on her every word, picking up the ways of the Jedi quite easily with his attention so well focused. Though beginning training late, he was more than skilled enough for his age by the time he reached his 20th birthday, and only got better in the years to come.
In his training, he grew to be friends with another Jedi in training, Daelon Eldritch.

If this needs changing, let me know, especailly you, Dark Warrior, as I've mentioned your character in here.

The apprentice deal came out when DarkWarrior said he'd wanna be the young jedi apprentice and he has to apprentice to someone so.... wala! I've been rping with him in another thread (which, sadly, seems to be dying off) so I figured he wouldn't mind. I won't post any more ICs though, sorry

The Sith are the evil Jedis. Each Sith has "Darth" in their name, example: Darth Vader, Darth Sidous, Darth Mual.

My char' will be a Jedi. I will post my char' info later.

My char' will be a Jedi Mater, who is trying to rebuild the Jedi order.

The Sith are coming back, and more of them. This is based after Return of the Jedi. But Luke Skywalker has already diead. The Empire is the same evil one it was under Darth Sidous, just no Sith for the leader.
What I am thinking of, is have the Sith coming out with force to take back the Empire. And the Jedi, which are all but exticent, try to build back the Jedi order, and bring back the old republic, the one which is in The Phantom Menace. But at the same time, the Jedi have to fight with the Sith.
And which side wins and such depends on how this RPG guys.

Double sided Light Sabers are good. It can be used as a single sided ZLight Saber. Which Darth Mual useses in the Phantom Menace, also Mace Windu has a double sided Light Saber.

*grins* hey! nows when i get to do my evil dark powers speech!

why is everyone pumped about Darth Mual? sure, gool looks, cool weapons, but lets face it, when it comes to the king of evil, it's Vader. that guy is my favourite char of the whole series. Mual killed what? 1 jedi, then got chopped in two, and tropped down a shaft, Vader did what? huh? yeah, thats right killed every single Jedi there was in the universe, minus Yoda and Obi-wan.

(luke don't count. he wasn't alive when the great jedi slaughter happened)
