We've got more than a few stories about Britney, Christina, etc., so I think dealing with some of the not-quite-as-famous celebs/fiction characters or ones that aren't obviously sex symbols might be interesting; maybe a story about Saffy from AbFab, or Emma Thompson (I can't be the ONLY one who thinks she's hot)- I'll leave this more up to individual authors, who probably have their own likes and dislikes.

"Retro" celeb stories might also be fun- say, one on vintage pinups like Bettie Page or June Wilkinson, or the Benny Hill girls.

I like the idea, I've been thinking about doing a story with a celeb who has fallen out of the limelight a bit but would still make heads turn if she walked into the room. Not sure who yet, have to think...

I hate to disagree with you, but Emma is NOT hot. Attractive in a very tweedy way, but once she did "Remains of the Day" all the sex appeal got drained right out of her. Too many wool skirts, too much stiff-upper-lippedness. I used to like her a lot, but too much Merchant-Ivory.

I LOVED this one actress who used to be on Benny Hill a lot, her name was Louise English, she had dark hair, she did a lot of the singing in the numbers they did. Whoa, me like her very much.

I think Emma's still got a bit of sauciness left in her- she was wonderfully vivacious in MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING. I also love the CHEERS episode she did where she's Frasier's first wife, now a children's entertainer (and ends up in a cat fight with Lilith.) She's perhaps been typecast into the more buttoned-down projects, but she might still surprise us.

Louise English is/was quite a cutie- she was one of the first Hill girls I figured out the name of. You might want to check out THE WICKED LADY, she's got a bit of brief nudity in that.

I was thinking, what celeb of yesteryear would be a good subject, who drove me up the wall years ago, who screwed me into the ground everytime she appeared on TV?

Then it hit me, like a slap. She's probably in her seventies by now, and probably still looks better than 99% of the skanks on TV.

Julie Newmar. Catwoman. THE Catwoman, not that ridiculous Michelle Pfeiffer person or Ashley Judd (Judd? JUDD?). Julie Newmar, about six foot three with an 18-inch waist and an ass you could eat a seven course meal off of. And that outfit, yeesh. Yes. Julie Newmar. Like her very much.

Julie Newmar!!

What a choice. She's almost not real--in fact she's about 60% fantasy--but I don't think she's in her seventies yet--early sixties perhaps.

Back when Berke Breathed was writing about Bill the Cat and Opus the penguin, he used a tried and true method of throwing out news women as sex figures
(Kathleen Sullivan in a bathtub full of jello sort of thing) this was truly inventive stuff---maybe O.J. trying to swim with cement overshoes or George W buying a whole package of kiddie ballons trying to find a colorful condom--or maybe Larry King with duct tape over his mouth. Wait I'm getting distracted here--but there's a guy on the Weather Channel I've been having the hots for lately.

I love the celeb stories!

To me there is something hot about the classic tv characters. :) Like "Three's Company," "The Mary Tyler Moore Show," "Gilligan's Island," "The Brady Bunch," etc.

I think we need to see something like "Facts of Life," "The Jefferson's," "All in the Family," etc... like a Nick-at-Nite All-Star Orgy! :)

Don't ask me why but I'm dying to see someone write a "Golden Girls," story!!!! I watch way too much Lifetime tv. I know they are old but I can really picture a hot story with sexpot Blanche! I'd also like to see the women of "Designing Women" go after each other!

You caught me off guard Criswell with Saffy from AbFab! :):):) I love that show! And I must say I agree with you on the celeb stories... we could do with a little less "Backstreet," "Britney," and "Christina." :):):)

oh you mean celebs but not super star

like conan obrien david letterman...craig kilbourn/....hey that gives me an idea stayyyyyy tuned

Saffy/Julia's always been a crush

Julia Sawalha's definitely my favorite actress/babe. She's got the loveliest eyes, and her figure ain't half bad either. With Saffron, I always felt she wasn't as pent-up as she seemed to Edina- there is that great moment in the Morocco episode when she and Patsy notice Saff has a "honey-yogurty smell"...

I love that too!!! (The Morocco Episode)

-Then the bellboy/servant kid winks at her. *lol* He was pretty damn good looking. -Lo :)

Julia Sawahla

Definately Julia! Sorry about the spelling of her name, but French is my primary language.I have just watched Ab Fab on a channel here in Paris, and she is so gorgeous in a girl next door kind of way. 'La Fille Sexuelle' I would say to her face, meaning 'Sexy Girl.' As an actress myself, I'd love to work, and play, with her... I should write about a backstage affair maybe!

Some options...

Although she's a sexpot, nobody has done a story about Louise Nurding yet, that would be good. Mel C could be great when done right. Melanie and/or Shaznay from All Saints.

But about the older ones?

Andie MacDowell, she so prude in movies i'd love to read about her getting down and dirty.

Bombshells?

I just recently wrote a story here about Marilyn Monroe (it's called "My Night With Marilyn"). Times have changed and I'm not sure if people of today find her as sexy as she used to be. But I sure as hell do! Let me know what you think of the Marilyn story, I'm thinking of doing more stories featuring bombshells and pin-up girls...

Yeah, I Read the Marilyn Story

Quite good, for the most part. I'd be happy if you continued writing along similar lines.

But which ones?

Thanks :) I'm glad you enjoyed it. Any suggestions for which bombshell I should cover next? Betty Paige, Bridget Bardot, Jane Mansfield...the possibilities are endless!

Blondes Prefer Gentlemen

LOVED the Marilyn story, she was a goddess to me. I will always adore her. Everytime I see her in "River of No Return," with Robert Mitchum... UGH! I moisten. :) And of course I get a rush from her in "The Misfits," there's something about her prancing around with Clark Gable and Montgomery Cliff as cowboys! Woa! It's hot now. :)

I think a story about Bridget Barot would be hot. And of course you couldn't go wrong with Bettie Page! :)

Glad you liked it! Ohhhh I know what you mean about "The Misfits". What a cast...Monty Clift was so sexy, and of course Clark always had such great chemistry w/ his leading ladies, Marilyn and Jean Harlow especially. I'm surprised that no one has done a Betty Page story yet, she's seen quite a surge in popularity lately!

I Did It

I wrote a story about a famous person that hasen't gotten the recognition she deserves: Lila McCann. 4 people read it,(and it actually got great reviews.)

BTW-If you want babes from yesteryear, have you ever seen "Meet Me In St. Louis?" Judy Garland,OH MY GOD!!!! Obviously I would have to write it as if I were living then, considering she's dead.

Hmmmm, how about a cross-over kind of story?

Maybe have one Marilyn go through time, and meet another one. Like say maybe Marilyn Monroe meets Marilyn Manson?

I know, weird. Is what happens when I am on-line at 3:30am.

Well...

...I'd go for Marilyn Monroe, but MANSON! No, thank you. How about Marilyn Monroe and Ingri8d Bergman, or perhaps Tippi Hedron. I was thinking of writing a story about Jules Asner or Tabitha Soren, their fairly obscure.
