Jessica Price thought of herself as a damn good lawyer. She had only lost 2 cases out of over 200 she had taken on since she started at Devin, Larson and Bridges law firm some years back.

Recently she had had the pleasure of helping to convict a Thomas Snyder of attempted kidnapping and sexual assault on a friend of hers. Even though a grand jury found him not guilty the matter went over to a civil suit by the victim and Jessica had won it. Causing Mr. Snyder to pay out over $3 million in damages on her client's behalf.

No one really knew if Thomas could pay this since most of his assets were tied up with his wife but Jessica wanted to make a point. If you screw with her friends, you screw with her.

Little did she know that Thomas had targeted her as his next victim.

Two weeks after the trial, Jessica was driving home from work after another long day had been put in. She hadn't noticed someone was following her. In fact for the past week, someone was spying on her in her home. Now, tonight, he was going to make his move and make Jessica pay for all the pain and suffering she put him through with the public, his job and especially his marriage.

The life of a lawyer was certainlyl boring. It certainly wasn't like how it was on T.V. But Jessica didn't mind it. It was a living and she was happy.

But really, was she?

While her professional life was great. Her personal life lacked a lot of social interaction. The reason probably being she was so busy trying to be a success or-maybe she was afraid.

After hearing so many cases involving criminal activity, especially through those that were dating or married. Killing for a loved one. Either for money or for love (in that person's sick mind). Sometimes it was senseless sure, but other times, even if they pleaded insanity, they knew full well what they were doing.

But at least today offered some relief. Jessi was set to take some vacation time to herself and have two weeks off starting tonight. She figured she deserved it and hadn't really planned on where to go. She just wanted to get away, that was for sure.

So, after her usual routine completed for the night, she laid in bed and searched through her phone for vacation destinations and seeing where she may want to go.

Not even getting through the first page as she scrolled along, Jessica fell asleep rather quickly.

She couldn't say how long she had been asleep but being a light sleeper, she woke up suddenly to a noise.

Everything after that happened so quickly, it was all a blur as she found a cloth pressed against her mouth and nose. She tried not to breathe in but she couldn't hold her breath for that long so on instinct, her body reacted and she inhaled deeply and soon afterward, her eyes rolled back into her head and she went limp in the intruder's arms.

Jessica slowly woke up. Her body was stiff and she felt constricted. She opened her eyes only to be surprised that she couldn't see. At first she panicked and thought she was blind but realized that something was over her head, preventing from seeing.

She tried to raise her arm but hadn't been able to. After trying a few more times, she groaned under the gag in her mouth and that's when it hit her! There was a fucking gag in her mouth and that's when she struggled more. Her legs wouldn't move apart, she couldn't move her arms either as they cramped behind her back.

Again, Jessi tried to scream but the gag held it's place. It all came rushing back to her! She was in bed and had almost been asleep when she was attacked! But by whom?!

And why?
