he's not the only one. here in michigan the republicans are already trying to rewrite the law that was passed by a fairly large majority last election. why? mainly it's because they're dicks.

Possibly but it's also not just about marijuana. Making pot legal won't stop it. Probably won't even slow it down. They'll just focus those resources on everything else.

It would greatly effect too many apple carts to legalize pot. The DEA, the local drug Police, the prisons for profiteers, and it would cut the CIA's influence a good deal too.

It makes much more sense to subsidize corn and soybeans producers to make fuels at a loss and drive the price of food up. At least the munchies won't be an issue.
