In 1985 Richard Pryor stared in a movie, Brewster's Millions. The premise is that a minor league baseball player(Richard Pryor) has to spend/waste $30m in 30 days in order to inherit $300m; however he's not allowed to tell anyone about the $300m deal.
As I was reading an article, I forget where, of all the silly shit Obama wants to fund with our tax dollars, I couldn't help compare them with the silly shit Pryor wasted his 30 million on in the movie. The scene where Richard was sitting at his desk in his hotel suite and listening to some doofus pitch a plan to bring icebergs to Africa to turn the desert into farmland was classic. Of course in the movie, John Candy was trying to tell Richard not to do it.
However, in real life, there is no one even whispering in Obama's ear that his ideas are even wackier and would waste more taxpayer money than Brewster was going to inherit.
