Obama Is A Closet Republican.

I'm outraged that Obama gets away with discounting Hillary's extensive foreign policy experiences. Like this rude barb of his:

Hillary, correctly, pointed out that Obama is inexperienced in foreign policy experience. She's right.

Then Obama said "If having lunch with the ambassador and watching some kids do a native dance is foreign policy experience, then she's right."

liar,

i buy that hillary is a right wing democrat; not sure if i buy that mccain is a leftish republican!

outraged on behalf of hillary. yep. i think maybe you guys want a crack at her; you've been storing up the "monica" and "lezzie" mud in barrels for years now.

obama would require some rethinking, but i think we've got a glimpse of the almost sure fire, tremendously original way that the right has figured out to take down Obama: simply keep suggesting he's a traitor, al qaeda operative, cousin of Saddam Hussein, in virtue of his name. etc.

Obama is the man for 2012, not 2008. He's smart enough. He doesnt play the race card. But he's inexperienced. He exists to fuck Hillary this go round.

We'll get Huckleberry Hound in 2008, then Obama in 2012.

Yeah that one struck me as a bit odd too.

well, perhaps mccain is a 'leftish' republican in the same sense that the later Reagan was leftish, compared Benito Mussolini.

as you know, liberal or even 'centrist' Republicans are now like hen's teeth; specter and arnie (as possible centrist) come to mind and just about no one else. Guiliani? maybe, but with all the law-and-order and militarist rhetoric as his usual garb.

LOL! Ted Kennedy called him "Osama Obama".

Anyone is right to point out Obamas overall lack of political experience. I heard someone on the radio doing a parody about him. They said he was going to write a book entitled "My life in politics. All 18 months of it".

When I was a kid, Mccain would have been considered to be on the right end of the Republican party. The moderate wing of the party included people like:
Bill Scranton, Nelson Rockefeller, even George Romney.

Arlen Specter would fit in that moderate mode today if he had a backbone. Since he doesn't, we'll just say he is from the wimp end of the republican party.

There really isn't a 'moderate' republican party anymore. The fundamentalists and neocons have pushed the boundary very close to fascism.

So from a certain point of view (the extreme right) Mccain is a leftish republican.

The Dems have followed along, moving to the right. Since most Americans are in fact moderate, it is shocking that the Republicans can continue to scare so many voters into supporting their extremism.

BULLET

Naaah. The moderates are alive and well. There's enough of them to make life easy for Harry Reid. We call them RINOs. Republicans In Name Only.

I hate to break it to everyone... but right now, being politically inexperienced isn't a bad thing in my eyes.

If I have to choose between whores, I'd like one with as few miles on her as possible.

Agreed.

People forget why money is so important in elections. Money allows you to literally buy the election. That is, you get to buy the best help, and pay-off the right people to nudge things your way.

The money in Washington isnt all that great, so you need real incentives to get people to join your team and put up with the bullshit.
