to campaign for him. Smart move or big mistake.

I vote for major fuck up.

I'm Clintoned out and probably would be even if I were a Democrat.

I think it would be a mistake as well because tying himself in with either Clinton would bring too much baggage into the Obama campaign.

Has someone floated a trial balloon about this or was it something you thought up?

Clinton has often been referred to as "the first black president." Maybe Obama is hoping for some hype. Honestly, I don't care either way. I'm voting for Obama and not a lot is going to change my mind.

Form the opening shots of the campaign many have felt that Bill's "help" was detrimental to Hillery's chances. I think it will be for Obama as well.

Perhaps if he was a figure by her side it may have helped more. I mean the guy did say "when I am president"...

Did he? I didn't hear that. (not unexpected) If he did, that was really dumb. But then it sounds like Bill.

I actually voted for the guy too.

I like Bill. I guess I am in the minority and stuff.

I must agree. Sometime I get much too involved. I blame that on you, you don't give me enough attention.

True, I have been lax in that department. Bad, naughty Lavared.

I've never seen Bill as particularly charismatic or attractive and so I always wondered why people said he appealed so much to the "soccer moms". A woman I know who met him years ago told me that he is very tall with brilliant blue eyes and was quite sexy in person. I still don't see it but maybe only because he can't hold a candle to those two most charismatic, attractive Litsters: Slowlane and Wok.

(better?)

Despite the baggage that he brings if Bill Clinton were running against John McCain then Clinton would beat McCain just like he beat Dole.

If you had a product to sell, and Kobe Bryant wanted to be on the label, would you accept his offer? Despite the fact that Bryant has had some felonious legal issues in the not too distant past he has one of the most marketable names in the country.
Unless the product that you are selling will be exclusively on the shelves of a Christian bookstore, his popularity outweighs his baggage.
